    No plastic bag for what?

What is the purpose of no plastic bag policy? Is it for green or for Selangor government to get more money from the rakyat?

If it is for green then why is the government allow it to be purchased at 20sen? Shouldn’t the shop/merchant provide paper bag instead? Whether at a cost or for free!

In California, where no plastic bag is allowed, paper bag is used instead.

Back in 2005, I was in one of China's tourist area, no plastic bag was allowed there and you can't pay to get a plastic bag too!

Agree with you Jenny. What's the purpose and benefits to the rakyat? Looks like it benefits the merchant. This cost saving should benefit the consumers.

    Two reasons

    1. Stupid is as stupid does. Their stupidly was displayed and confirmed repeatedly from the ways they handle the water resources and water crisis in selangor.

    2. Everyting is expensive here unless it is free. Paper bags are more EXPANsive than plastic. If only paper bags are allowed, the incremental cost will have to be factored into the cost of goods and things will become more EXPANsive. People don't like this and you don't pissed off these people at this time because election is around the corner.

So, my tax money and your tax money will be utilized to provide free selangorku bus, free water, free this and free that to make these people happy. Don't play play with them, they are the majority and must be pleased indefinitely in order for those fellas like azzemee and the bunch of ^xx#@ to stay on power to run this state..

As one of those who voted for this government , I feel responsible to voice my disagreement when they appeared to do wrong. The government must know we can not accept nonsense then only we have a chance to a better government. But I observed a lot of supporters just suffer in silence. (you pay tax, they keep a big amount of the money, reward themselves handsomely, and tell you they save so much money, who is the stupid one here? )There is a Chinese saying 姑息养奸!

Technically, I did not vote the present state government.

I knew for sure the party that I have faith since my childhood time will have majority seats in this state and I was right. Unfortunately, due to the harsh reality they had to surrender it to a second tier party to run this state. The worst part is these bunch of axx#^ think they were given the mandate by the majority !!

I just wish they will be wiped out in the coming election and I believe this is highly possible. The rockets will still win comfortably in chinese majority areas. The 1pm party will win in the rural areas. The urban areas where it is not dominant by one race will be the headche for these fellas. They still think they can sleep with the moon and gain support from the Chinese voters in these constituencies...

If the objective of no plastic bag is to save the earth, then no plastic bag at all. People should not be given an option to purchase the plastic bag, be it 20 cents or 2 dollars.

People have to bring their own recycled bag or purchase a paper bag from the shop, but strictly no plastic bag.

Only moroons can come out with such fxx#@ idea to allow shoppers to pay for plastic bag.

    Stupid is as stupid does

Well I wouldn't say moroons knowing they are biodegradable

    We all pay 10cts here.

Are you people paying 20cts for a biodegradable plastic bag?

From which posts or from where that prompted you think the blardy 20 cents plastic bag is the biodegradable plastic bag ??

Fyi, the most common type of plastic bag—the kind you get at supermarkets—is made of polyethylene, a man-made polymer that won't decompose by bacteria. .

Those moroons provided an option to allow shoppers to buy the same polyethylene plastic bag that should be banned completely.

Biodegradable ?? Yes, it will decompose may be after 200 to 1000 years later.

If your 20cts is for plastic bag and not biodegradable one, then something is not right.
