Why people like to "demand" for respect? Why people like to force their culture onto others?
In Singapore, they even have law to jail you for insult dead people & fairytale figure.
Forum rules are like Sedition act plus ISA, it all depend on the moderator to decide if you violated it or not and you don't get a chance to defend yourself.

Unfortunately shoplifting is common in Malaysia, so I don't blame shop owner for extra security measures.

I wonder if someone being sentenced to death will come back from oversea willingly or not?
I am no lawyer too, I guess the reason why the person can go oversea without any restriction is because the previous appeal court ruled them not guilty and release them at once.

I do agree with you on the "socially right" part, that's why sometime we can't be so straight on everything, but being generous and guilt is totally two different things. You may give up your rights...

Different scenerio, execute your rights and abuse the service is two different thing. In your cashier example, do you consider yourself abuse the service?
