Balik Kampong in Memory of the Late Tuan Foo

It has been two weeks since our beloved cop Chief Inspector Foo left us. How time flies. And now it's time again for us to launch this years Balik Kampong, Rumah Selamat Campaign, albeit with an air of sadness as our "Hero" campaigner for the Balik Kampong programme will not be with us this time around.

Tuan Foo had strongly believed in this programme and had personally taken pride in seeing that each Balik Kampong Campaign came through with flying colours. He was always extremely happy and proud each time we run a post mortem after each Campaign that shows zero crime for those that have registered. He had also always personally gone round with us or other patrols to ensure that the rondas were properly carried out. Such is our loss.

So, during this coming Launch of the Balik Kampong, Rumah Selamat Campaign in Sunway, we will honour his memory and also present a cheque of the donations contributed by the residents to his widow Puan Ong. Your presence in big numbers at this launch will do justice for what Tuan Foo stood for and believed in. Your presence will lend moral support and give inspiration to the other men and officers in blue. Your presence will give some consolation to Tuan Foo's widow that Tuan Foo's contribution has not been forgotten.

Take note of this Sunday's event and come make your presence felt.
