he is an idiot who contributed directly to the rise in crime...making a report to the management of a complex doesnt mean a cowdung! Better to keep quiet and then kick own backside ...

it is irresponsible to post any hearsay thus creating an atmosphere of usj being a crime infested area... if I kena rob I can do 3 things
1. make a polis repot
2. start my own machinery to track down the criminals and settle the score on my own terms, or let the cops do it, whichever comes first!
3. post in usj.com and complain to the mountains and ass-lick fellow supporters of rumor-mongering, in a feeble attempt to 'warn' fellow residents of such phantom criminals.period!

I might not even complain or lodge a police report as I could be in the police for hours and hours waiting for the IO to come back from whereever he might be...... but complained to the management is a waste of time unjless they can be rambo and track down the culprits for you.
But on the serious note, need to lodge as to make a statistic out of it otherwise the IGP would say " where got crimes at subang Jaya " and that is why I sent some cops to kaypoh in Ipoh.
Then again, make a lot of noise lah, especially at usj forum and polis and the management because Sembahyang sebelum anda disembahyangkan.

In the beginning, the question thrown was if the story was true. Then finally, the real agenda was that it was not reported to the police. I must agree that crimes need to be reported to the police ... never mind if it only becomes a statistic but the important point is that it becomes the police's job to respond to this statistic and to keep an eye on such places. By not taking the trouble to make a police report, it is as good as not taking action to help prevent future robberies.

This brings to mind what happened couple of years back when I went to a nearby Supermarket to do some grocery shopping for my wife. I parked outside the Supermarket and walked towards the front opening when I chanced upon some very suspicious looking Indonesians, two of them waiting under a tree next to the chain link fence separating the housing area from the Supermarket. It was 10 am in the morning on a Saturday and the Supermarket was barely just open. It seems to me that they had towels wrapped around their mouths like a balaclava and they were anxiously waiting for something or someone to pounce. Each of them had long parangs and they looked menacing. I quickly walked into the Supermarket and dialed the nearest Police station and informed the scenario. Like you would have guessed, no Police came. Probably they thought it was a prank.

Just imagine when I came out after shopping and headed to my car. I then saw what these flers were up to. They were up in the nearby trees to trim it! They were actually the City council contractors or sub-contractors brought to trim trees. It was confirmed when I saw the City haul lorry parked nearby. Haha... but just imagine, at that hour, in that situation, in that scenario you could have easily mistaken them for robbers or murderers by the way they behaved earlier. My wife still laughs when she remembers this.

Just how many nicks can someone open in a forum? AFAIK Its not allowed in other forums and usually it will be indicated under their nicks if they opened more than one nick. Perhaps the mods should enforce this.

I also received a PM from the fellow forumer like Sentinel, and boy was that a detailed summary which have facts and factors especially the crucial one like #1 and #6.
I have said it before and again, this is a good forum to bring up issue, but dont abuse it by posting just for fun or malice intents. Otherwise, people would look at the loads of rubbish and it would lose crediblity. Of course, sometimes we get emotional to get over views , but that is ok if we are gentleman or ladylike about it.
Quite of my customers have had refered to the usj.com.my particularly the ones staying at Subang because I recommended it as for its useful contents like crime watch and social issues. And you know what - all of them when asked or even without asking, said they think the forum is cool.
People do things for different reasons. Some do it just fun, others do it out of pure concern. Me, I mean to pass and share the goodies I found like USJ forum.

you guys are right... bring up the matter... i remembered that i post a thread previously that i lost a lot of coins at a car wash. i brought it up with the building management, car wash operator and even lodge a police report. I ended up being laugh at for making a police report. Luckily some forumers defended....

If what had been reported is true, I believe Regines have some explaining to do. Can Regines check with her relative about this? If we do not hear from her, I will have to take action on her nick

Sentinel, I suppose you had reason to believe the story was untrue ... why did you not come up with the reasons for your stand instead of just questioning Regines in the Forum? I moderate from what I can see and I saw someone being questioned but I did not see any supporting evidence to believe that the 'report' was untrue.

after reading over again, i felt a bit suspicious. How can 4 lift breakdown at the same time??? Is a new building and 4 lift breakdown at the same time, i really find hard to believe.

lets wait for regines to come out and clarify on this.
