Date : 8th November 2007
Departing Time : 9:50am Arrival Time : 11:15am Distance From Subang Jaya : 130km++ Weather : Sunny Before driving to the Elephant Sanctuary, we stopped by Deerland. A wild animal farm, where you get the chance to touch the animals, feed the animals, take photo with the animals. Among the animals can be found include deer, peacocks, some birds, python, bear, rabbit and ostrich. It is a great experience for children as they get to touch the animals. Entrance fee is RM5 for adult and free for children below 12 years old. Here are some of the photographs taken in the Deerland. I realised there's a big difference between Phuket's Elephant riding and Gandah riding. In phuket they provided a proper seat for 2 adults as shown in the following photo.. First it's for safety and second you don't have to hug the driver*

You are right. I was not observant enough. They need to hold on to the mahout otherwise they can fall down and be squashed by the elephant legs. Interesting. BTW, how do you guys load the photos into this kind of forum? I do not see any "Insert pictures" icon. And how do you control the size being downloaded? |

Here are the steps to follow :- 1. Register with Photobucket / Imageshack / Flickr 2. Upload your resized photo into your Photobucket / Imageshack / Flickr account 3. Copy the link with 4. Paste it into your posting in the forum (make sure you have the there...otherwise the picture will appear as a link only. Note : you may need some software such as ACDsee or photoshop to resize. There are some free version resizing software available, just give a search on the net.
