    Is SJ/USJ a "black area"?

Two separate news, reported in Malay Mail

    Story no. 1

    Woman raped by bogus policemen
    AZMAN ABDUL GHANI
    SUBANG JAYA, SELANGOR, Sept 28
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A 26-year-old technician watched in horror as two men, claiming to be cops, rode off with his girlfriend on Monday. The girl was subsequently raped near USJ1.

    Story no.2

Nude man found with his head bashed in
    AZMAN ABDUL GHANI
    SUBANG JAYA, SELANGOR, Sept 28
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Angler Kudus Abu Bakar, 38, suspected something amiss when he saw crows on what looked like a carcass near Lake View Club in Subang Jaya yesterday.

Whatever it is, residents better be careful........

Yes I read about this too. It is very frightening to know that we live close to where these incidents took place.

Is the grass greener on the other side? I doubt it. Subang Jaya isn't perfect but for what it's worth, I still love living here!

True Badaveil, agree with you. But the question is, how could such a thing like "dragging off someone's girlfriend to rape" and a "carcass" thing happen in a nice neighborhood like ours? These are not petty crimes, these are serious crimes!

I'm shifting out of USJ4 end October with a heavy heart. I love this place which has been home to us for the last 11 years. Still I really pray for the day we achieve the required 'policeman:resident' ratio when the 8th Malaysia Plan comes along....

It would be a foolish strategy of a criminal to make muck in his own compound because the chances of being recognized are much better than being at someone else's compound.

In view of these happenings, the Subang Jaya OCPD and our YDP will be meeting all JKP representatives and community leaders this Sunday at 9.30 am at the MPSJ foyer to brief them on the grave situation. So far SJ/USJ has clinced the title "Worst Dengue infected area" and in no time will clinch another title "Winner of the most serious crime award" if nothing is done fast. We are not proud to be bestowed such title.

    Worse Dengue Area

We are living in an area surrounded by industrial parks. Go take a look at these industrial areas, the drains etc and . Imagine living in the fort and surrounded by red indians

Come on let be serious....the solution is clear and simple .... seek, catch (everybody in SJ/USJ not just industrial park) and fine them (enrich MPSJ kitty for the benefit of the people)....Enforcement and be persistent. Jangan lah hangat hangat aja!

    1. "Worst Dengue-infested Area"
    2. "Area with Most Serious Crimes"
    and what else......

And they are still trying very hard to get the USJ8 piece of land for a food-court? Those people should be sworn upon and spat-upon.....

At the end of the day, people would look at USJ as a slum area..... don't have to call me negative, look into the big drains the next time you visit Casablanca Restaurant or Apollo in USJ 4. Is the water flowing?

There is a house in my neighborhood along Jalan USJ4/6G where they use it as a kitchen to prepare all the food you guys eat at Casablanca Restaurant. They have about 6-7 people staying in there. They start cooking from as early as 5-6 am. There are something like 8-10 empty gas cyclinders each time stacked at the gate for 'exchange' with the gas supplier, who will then placed the equal number of FULL gas cylinders there, in the hot sun, waiting for disaster to strike!

In the afternoon, another group of people will come visit, park their pick-up trucks and vans everywhere, and you can 'hear' there must be at least 2 mahjong sessions going on simultaneously.

In the evening, hawker trolleys and what-have-you are pushed into the compound from wherever they operate. Restaurant table cloths are hung on every available fence for drying.

I have reported this to MPSJ at least 10 times in the last 10 years... phew! thank God we are moving out next month! Good Luck to the new owner of my house!
