Certain areas of SS 14 S. Jaya experienced a water cut for nearly 5 hrs, is it due to what is reported in the The Star, that most dams are in a critical stage.
Its been raining the last few days maybe not in the catchment areas.. are we going to face another kind of dilemma?

Running dry
A water shortage in the country is looming as major dams are recording low levels, some critical. Added to the concern is the weatherman’s forecast that the dry spell could last until October.
If we do not handle our water well, we may end up with a water crisis next after the haze. The Star takes a look at how we treat this most precious resource in our life in a special report.
Malaysians have been advised to be prudent in the use of water to prevent a crisis.

n when the sun sets...upon returning from work...the same freaking idiots would ask their maids to wash the same numbers of car(s) again...
Err...dear CCY...understand ya just came back from where generally ALL our ancestors...came from...how is the water doing there now?...ahem...with over 1.4 billions of its population now n growing still...Orchi reads that they have already been experiencing clean n fresh water shortages problems...
How much are we paying for a 1.5L bottle of fresh drinking water...more than 2 ringgit or so right?...would it become a reality one day that...a litre of it...would be more costlier than fuel...
Err...Orchi would NOT be a bit surprised...that it could be very possible...that future wars amongst neighbouring nations...would be fighting over their access to fresh water...
Ahem...nearer to our homes...remember not too long ago...when we experienced the grandfather of all water rationing exercises n inconvenience over here...err...whenever people sees the water tanker approaching...people trying hard to hold on to their pails n tanks...going bezerk over their turns to collect the water...n having walked painstakingly bringing pails of water back to their homes...n days went by...people would keep staring at their water taps...hoping...praying...n asking...when would the taps run again...

Yes, please conserve water..precious comomdity. But the biggest problem is guess who? You got it...bloody gomen again. It's not difficult to find burst mains if you want to look for them. The ones that blast out like fountains get repaired quite quickly. The real killers are the underground burst pipes...I have seen several that was left as is where is for months...how much water got lost is anybody's guess but will be in tens of thousands of gallons. No action report after report with one dept. pussing the buck to the other.
Another are today's son of a gun plumbers. How many of you have experienced leak underground pipe work in your house. I think quite a few. For me personally, after taking delivery of a new house and having the water connected, I did not move in until a few months later.When I went to the house one weekend for a look see...found a water bill in my letterbox ...RM2300+. A leak that was suppose to be "repaired" after an earlier complaint. Several neighbours suffer the same. With group pressure, the developer took responsibility and the plumber was forced to pay.
Usually, one cannot visibly see the leak until the bill arrives...by that time, thousands of litres would have gone to waste.
When engaging plumbers for underground pipework, make sure they use the approved pressure pipes and be sure the pipes are buried in enough depth depending on the surface traffic.

Well.. the water there seems to be clean n clear in the hotel. Probably filtered but taste a bit salty like. Get the same for bottled drinking water as well. Outskirt in those public toilets by the highway n sightseeing places also cannot get free teh tarik like here. But I have 4 days of typhoon wind n rain then. So no one mentions about water shortages for now. The whole 300+ km out of Beijing is green with 70% coverage with matured corn. Presume they are efficient in utilising their natural water resources for the foodcrops. Coming to managing water resources...they gotta improve...otherwise like us with only 26 millions of populations bathing in the God's gifted tropical rained country...NOT wanting to address the water resources issues seriously...we have since been experiencing water rationing...more often that those living in the middle eastern deserts....jia lat liao...
Ahem...having said that...what would our country still do n count on for ages since...is only to wait for rain to fall...???

'WATER' flows everywhere even into pockets and it looks like it haven't dried out of the river yet. So no worry until the taps really runs dry one day.

Ahem...the gomen leaders not too distant past or present could boast about having built billions of ringgits worth of expressways stretching thousands of miles from South to North...n East to West...
Err...but cleverly they always managed to hide the facts of their freaking inability to manage the freshwater resources well...
Ahem...while they have them freaking big Twin(36" diametre each) LPG looping pipes across almost ALL the states of trengganu/pahang/johor/negeri sembilan/selangor/perak/& kedah...err...how come they are not even being able to build a series of freshwater channelling n distribution pipes connecting all the states' freshwater resources in the peninsular malaysia...???
Err...heard they only managed it quite alright...n selling it much cheaper...when channelling the Johor's freshwater to Singapore...how come?
