    Anyone smelling smoke again?

    I'm located at Kota Kemuning. Approx. half an hour ago, the unbearable smell of smoke had hit us again. Anyone out there is currently experiencing the same problem?

    Had already called DOE Hotline at 1800 88 2727 and their response was that they had detected open-burning at Sepang. However, they will be checking on Kota Kemuning & surrounding areas very soon.

    sorry to bring this topic up again.

    every night around kota kemuning, bukit rimau, sj, jalan kebun, you will smell smoke. i suspect some factory nearby emit during nite and stop during day.

    anyone notice anything from nearby factory?

    smelling smoke

    Hi All!

    There is a way to remove the smell from the house. let me know if you are insterested. We cannot control the burning but at least we can remove the odor from our house...

    The mysterious smokes started again! and it effected several area along KESAS highway from Kota Kemuning spread to Klang. Its happening at night time only
    I saw just last week, bomba tried putting out fire nearby the highway!dunno who started it...nature (hotspot) but it rain sometimes! or myb there will be a new housing development coming to that area .Why ahh the smoke did not appear in the sunshine times? -I guess eyes are watching the lupid ppl burning dunno-what?? -they liked to burn for whatever-stupid-reason! lupid lupid ppl
    Or... myb THE smoked IS COMING FROM OUR beribu ribu jauh kilometer GOOD NEIGHBOUR*INDONESIA* Oohh...that y the smoke can travel by here aand sampai sini a night times...no wonder!!!
    tonight no smoke one I bet u cause it raining now and the lupid lupid ppl cannot start t fire with wet condition ma...for today only loh

    aisey....no rain leh in klang! i think the *lupid lupid*(stupid) ppl a all happy now because they can start for a bon fire somewhere tonight.

    i think factories somewhere are emmiting those smoke, it starts when night fall and stop when sun rise.

    hmmm....something fishy....anyone has any lead?

    Thumbs down Air Quality Suprise

    My family and I just moved into Kota Kemuning 2 months ago as the saying goes, it is the "epitome" township which we totally agree. The only setback is the air quality from 11.00 pm till dawn (5.30 am) - without fail you can smell rubber / wood burning during this time - everyday. You knowlah, new house haven't fix up the air cond so our windows are open. I saw alot of factories and industrial areas serrounding KK area, could this be from this place or how about residents from USJ? Do you have the same experience?

    Poor air quality in Kota Kemuning is generally caused by open burning somewhere in Jln Kebun/Bkt Kemuning rural areas. It was reported in the newspapers several times in the past few years and yet, nothing has changed! However, close proximity to factories can also further worsen its condition when the surrounding air is saturated with particulates in the absence of wind.

    I've stayed in Kota Kemuning for 7 yrs and every year, we never failed to inhale that fantastic smell of smoke several times a year! Complained to DOE numerous times and yet it happened repeatedly. Ever since we shifted to USJ about 8 mths ago, somehow we don't experience it anymore...

    the other day i saw smoke emiting from Platinum Park at around 8pm++, tried to call Jabata Alam but no one pick up, they stop the smoke iin the morning

    Haze should be norm around the month of august (at times as early as mid july)...will see...it has become a seasonal phenomena

    today on the way to westport, around kota kemuning area, i found it is quite misty, it is haze? or high level of moisture?
