Anyone know where i can get gas masks? The type that doesn't cover your eyes but has the cyclindrical thingy filters? Those "tissue paper" masks are not doing me any good.

Saw one at Ace Hardware store some time ago......dunno if they still carry them.

You shud be looking for a good mask, preferably a 3M, N95 type or its European equivalent type of EN149. Get them from pharmacies.
The 3M , N95 filters anything greater than of 0.5 micron. They cost anything between RM5.00 to RM12.00 pending on the degree of the haze and demand over supply.
Dont go for the Rm1.50 cone type from hardware shops, thats only good for doing house cleaning.

I still have balance from SARs incident. I have to force my two toddler to put it on. They are having dry cough now. I hope it will not get too bad

Bought some N95 3M mask from Guardian Pharmacy GIANT USJ last nite at Rm10 each.

bought a N95(filters 0.1 microns) mask from Nutra Pharmacy at ss 15..RM19.90

Looks like the haze going soon..just hope it goes away before 25th August 2005...coz I dun wanna celebrate National day with this terrible haze.
