Forget abt reporting to Bonuslink. When I lost my Bonuslink card sometime ago (handbag was snatched), I requested for a replacement card. Submitted a form, followed up by phone calls & emails, but yet no reply.

Until one fine day, I think it was when the card expires & they have to send me a new one, I got a so-called "REPLACEMENT" for the one I lost...so much for being efficient heh?

I guess it's also part of the culture when companies are getting to be SLIGHTLY more popular, with less competition around, the less customer oriented they will be...

    Hi
The problem lies with us we are drenched this free gifts syndrome..we are more interested with the free gift rather then the merchandise we intend to buy.
This is a marketing stretgy which we Makaysians fall for...so spend more on your card and get better gifts. How many of us fall for this? Buy one and get one free..common lah nothing is free.

So why must these redeemption ppl be so bothered about what you choose and what service they provide afterall you have already spend your money using the card.. So the attitude is if you want a free gift come and get it, who cares!!!!

    Sharing my views.

    Cheers

I think you've over-generalized in this case as issue doesn't lies with "free gifts". And btw, the gift redemption from Bonuslink is not free, we earned the points from each dollar spent! Majority, if not all, consumers do spend their $$$ wisely and not only interested with the free merchandises as perceived...

From consumers' point of view, if they're rewarded for shopping with merchandisers tied-up with Bonuslink, what the heck? By the end of the transaction, on top of getting wat they purchased, consumers are also rewarded with stuffs of their choice. Isn't that a win-win situation?

If Bonuslink doesn't consider customers' loyalty or good customer orientation as important, sorry for them coz there're others in the market who're willing to knock them out from the play. By the end of the day, it's again, consumers who'll be gaining the benefits coz we'll get the best out of the money spent!

May I know what is this RM2 to 1 point thing? I thought the point collected is different at different merchant, e.g. if pump petrol at Shell, every RM15 will award the customer 8 bonuslink point?

PC, if you wish to pursue the matter further with Shell Malaysia, let me know. I probably should be able to assist you. All the way to the top.

LEXUS, if had followed our earlier thread on Realrewards, you will find that most folks here do not have favourable views about them. My wify was so pissed with them, she asked me to just throw all the Realrewards cards away! They should be call Realhopeless!
