    Blind Date

I m always not good when it comes to dating especially a blind one. I do not know how to act because most of the time I would be uncomfortable. What do we do when we go for blind dates? Should I bring a friend along? where is the best place to go?

You'll have him hold the back of your shoulders and walk behind you. Otherwise this blind date of yours may fall down. I know this method 'cos I used to take blind people in MAB, Brickfields, out for walks at night.

Hello Headache, Cherry is speaking of blind date - as in dating someone whom you have not met. The date is probably set through friends, internet or online chat. Not leading a blind guy on the road lah!!!

Your comment really made me laugh aloud and my colleague was wondering what is wrong with me!!! Kah Kah Kah...............you are truly a funny person!!!

    Hi Cherry

Why do you need to date a stranger if you are not comfortable, is'nt it safer to date someone with your eyes wide open.... so simple one.

My suggestion : Go somewhere where conversation is accessible yet not expected - so that those long silences don't become too ackward and you can take your time getting used to the situation. One on one dinners, for me, are a no no, simply because conversation is basically all you have. Perhaps some sort of activity would be more suitable? Bowling? A trip to the zoo? Jungle trekking is nice. But I am no expert, in fact, if you talk to my friends, I am probably the worse person to advise you on these matters. It's like the blind leading the blind (mind the pun).

Glad you peeps enjoy my little humour/joke.

    Cherry,
Be careful of date rape. Best is make it an orgy. Oops... I mean at least a foursome on blind dates and your "chaparone" is one you can trust. Then, go to pubic places where there's a crowd. Once, you are comfortable with your blind date, and after a few dates, do check him out i.e. where he stays and VISIT him, temporary. If you wanna stay the night, make sure that he has ample supply of condoms.
Psss.... sssttt.... there are many "MBA" on the loose, you know.

In this case, it's best to toe the line. Make her happy and if your blind date is really "blind", let him go and your mom must know the reason, lor.
Remember, you only have 1 mom and she's IRREPLACEABLE.
