Err...it has been weeks on end...that nobody has yet to figure out what the latest sound is all about...

So many people got listening problems?...Orchi hopes not too...

But in here...Orchi is feeling generous to let you all in on the great possible answer to that latest sound...

Ahem...n at the tune of over RM3k now...Orchi hopes one of the faithful forumers of this webforum would win the grand price...by calling in to the station and telling them that the right answer to their latest sound test IS............

Err....no drum roll ar?

Heh Heh...it could be HIGHLY POSSIBLE of being the sound of a dart hitting the targetted dart board...

thanks buddy for the tip. however getting thru L&E's phone line is another matter! so far no luck. sometimes got thru but too late. other times the phone rang but no one pick it up!

Nolar... it's not the dart hitting the board.. some callers called and said the same but got mocked by the DJs..

The clue is something to do with wood and laundry.. if i am not wrong. Cos they do give tips...

Err...Mel&Sun...of late somebody gave answers about the sound being shooting an arrow...n hitting the target...

Ahem...Mr. Bond said repeatedly that the answers were very very close...

The tips given earlier were...wood n flat...err...darthboards are made out of wood...as well as being flat...

So give it a shot lar...ahem...all the gain to the tune of over 3k...n nothing much to loose what...

The sound is not hitting a wooden board because that would be a "hard" sound whereas the sound is certainly a soft thud. To me it sounds like slapping a piece of wood on a stack of newspapers but the clues don't seem to say so. Maybe Orchi or Zimon is right.

When Yasmin Yusof was doing this on Radio 4 .... ages ago the sound that acumulated the largest price money was tht made by a barber's chair being raised or lowered .....
If that is any indication of how obscure the source of the sound can be .... well your guess is as good as mine.

So the source can be as obscure as the sound of a washing machine tumble-drying a wooden chastity belt .......
Clues like laundry & wood taken care of in my answer ......
