Let me summarize in 3 words.. We've been screwd!.

Yes many times over. Now they are privatising the solid waste collection. Soon another bill will be coming.

3C complex, Bird Brain Park (former), Belly dancing & toilet inspecting study trips, renovating roundabouts every 2-3 years, RM 70000 toilets etc etc

This IWK is worse than those `get rich quick' scam lah. They charge my company's unoccupied warehouse RM26 a month whereas the water usage there is less than 1cubic meter a month. The water bill is at the minimum charges of RM36 a month.
What have IWK done to deserve RM26 a month? It is like we are paying some protection $ to some gansters who are said to give us a certain `protection'.

Charged in Court for failing to settle IWK Bill :-

# 15,181 charged in court for failing to settle unpaid bills since May 2007.

# 6,555 settled their payments

# 38 paid in instalments.

Balance = 15,181 - 6,585 - 38 = 8,558

This 8.558 not need to pay?????

If like that, more than 50% will win in the court. That's mean IWK has not 100% right to impose the charges to us......

Any lawyer here? Since we all know that our "Cukai Pintu" is for utilities and such, and previously all this waste management is as in sewers and what's not are all in there. Can we make the town council to pay for all this? So unless they reduce our "Cukai Pintu", they have to handle this. not us.

which means we are not using the services of Indah Water

If I'm NOT mistaken..still pay!.. Its them who're now providing services to periodically vacuum the muck (on call I think)from inside the septic tanks. Of course this aint another household DIY job.
I know this from experience at my parents home in PJ, where my brother had to call them for the obvious service, No pay, no come!.

However, the "new fees" is a "RAKYAT BURDEN POLICY" that's shrouded in mystery shafted down our throats without PRIOR CONSULTATION nor compromise to ease the rising cost of living in Klang Valley or other places affected by cost inflation.
Personally I view policies like this (amongst others) as "WE'VE BEEN SCREWED BIG TIME" and it'll come from an unaccountable one sided gahmen at large you all voted for!.

I am willing to pay if there is a blockage to my sewer pipe for a lump sum price. But not like now need to pay monthly. Not fare to "rakyat" ....... Any ADUN or Ahli Parlimen here???? Please voice up in Parlimen meeting ........ If we need to pay IWK bill..... FINE!!!...reduce the "cukai pintu".

No wonder we have to pay for the **** water! They keep screwing us until we spew all the sh**! It is just not fair...the rates I mean. If it's equitable, I dont really mind paying. Look. At RM8 a month for two of us staying in an apartment. A huge bungalow house with probably ten residents, and they also pay rm8! Someone, please tell me. Any one with an iota of cow sense would know that 10 fellas are going to spew out more **** than 2 fellas! So where's the logic on the rate!! Am I mad? Who wouldnt be???!!!!!!
