I've certainly not come across any in USJ or Subang that's worth a mention. I would usually go to a stall at SS23 (near the former Lim Kok Wing University) hawker area and devour all I want. It's served with their home made curry as an alternative to the sweet sauce. There's also the chee cheong fun laced with dried shrimp too. Open from late afternoon till somewhat 9pm. Cheaper and good!.

The best chee cheong fun, Subang??? Man! I have something to share!!

Location: At SS14 opposite of SS15 Mcdonald there is a roti canai shop by the name of Viknesh/Viva...starting with V, which is beside the famous bak kut teh store which has since moved 3 shoplot away. Behind this roti canai shop there is a chee cheong fun stall (which is renting a space inside this roti canai shop).

Why is it good? Serving old fashion Ipoh style, must try! Taste for yourself to believe! Must go by 7.30am or else sold out or no place to sit. Can order drinks from roti canai shop; teh tarik, teh halia, etc.

I go there every weekend early morning, if go there and "sorry mai sai" (sold out), fear not, can order roti pisang!

There was this stall in Chow Yang that serve chee cheong fun with fried grounded dried prawn and added Yong Tow Foo sometime ago. The stall only open at night..........

Don't know where is it now........ but was certainly the best in PJ so far.

Re: The best chee cheong fun in USJ

The best Chee Cheong Fun is at Hoong Foong Dim Sum 77-1 JLN USJ21/10. They serve until noon. Best if they make it fresh for you.

There is another CCF at USJ 14 Dim Sum shop (behind 7-11) also nice if serve fresh.

The rest of CCF, like in Taipan (behind Ampang YTF), Infront of parking tower and front of the taipan indian newspaper shop, her husband stall in USJ3 or 4 (near the puasa bazaar) are all off the mill, standard OEM type

There use to be one infront of MesinNiaga last time.

There is also one chinese restaurant in front of FlaminJ, that serve CCF with oil.

    The vietnamese CCF, yuck!

    Hey ppl...

Hav any of you tried the Chee Cheong Fun in Subang Jaya, SS15, Kwai Sum (used to be called New Taman Sea).

I think so far, that's the better one in Subang Jaya. Taste of the sauce is good, the chee cheong fun also quite 'smooth' and 'shyiok' to bite....

    nyam nyam...

the one at the corner coffee shop of a row of single storey shops at subang indah's wet market is not bad. this is opposite the pyramid shopping mall, near a playing field. you can have it with curry or simple basic sauce but the yong tau fu is fried on the spot. excellent when eaten fresh. yong tau foo in soup. 70 sen per piece. many people on saturdays and sundays. kopi kau at the shop is strongly recommended.

wow, love chee cheong fun a lot! and they're so many suggestions here, can't wait to try them all. but then, different people will have different taste. in the end, some might like the ccf of this shop, and some might like the ccf of the other shop. but still, chee cheong fun is one of the best food around.

Icehart: chee cheong fun also got expensive one. not so sure what they called it already, HK ccf, if i'm not mistaken, got prawns one in the inside, and the chilli sauce is excellent. :] wantan mee is a bit heavy for me, i shall say, and oily. stomach sensitive. :P

    *high 5...*
If "sorry, mai sai", I order waday. Wifey and I can do our marketing after breakfast, too.
In fact, I've been there for the past few days but took only teh tarik and waday AND read newspaper for FREE.
