Pak Lah is a little lam and would have been eaten by the wolfs during Mahathirs days.
Dr. M is quite right in speaking his personal opinion, the same goes for anybody in a news group. Dr. M knows how the world works and who controls it. It is more elegant if he speaks his pensioners opinion than if Pak Lah would say it.
Australia is since a long time also owned by the Elite. They were forced long time back to sell out all public services to the Elites corporation and are fully controlled and owned by them. What should they contribute to Asia? Americanised opinions? we have enough of them. This is certainly not a statement against the victimized Australian people who discovered too late their new masters. they too were once rich before taken over by them.
Regarding the Media ownership it is no secret that all medias in the world are owned by either of those 6 corporation on this link. http://www.mediachannel.org/ownership/chart.shtml even Bernama gets their information from one of the Elites agencies listed in this link. To make it more clear – all Media companies are Jewish owned and controlled, that goes for all TV, Radio, Press, Publishers and Movie companies.
You must therefore be pretty blue-eyed if you still belief in the stories you read in the media...
Err...our Tun Dr. Mahathir could blast anything to anyone till his heart is content...so as long as he doen't overdo it...for obvious ill effects from his past experiences n consequences from which the rakyat had to endure during his reins as the head of government for the past 22 years or so...
Ahem...having said that...who is Orchi to say about this sorta things...besides...notwithstanding how others think of him then or now...err...ahem...ultimately...it has everything to do with what he thinks he has done his best or not for the rakyat n the nation at large n for himself ofcourse...that counts...
The world leaders dont give a damn what TM babbles afterall Pak lah has met the world leaders and have briefed them on his stance on Malaysian Foreign polices ...so dont need to get unduly excited over his press speeches..nobody listens and does not carry any weight.
Dr. M was a tough cookie during his reign and he made lots of enemies, but Malaysia is today what he envisaged. It needed a man of his caliber to deal with the International Mafia. I am not concerned with local policies – and I am not in agreement that he developed, without an environmental concept and thereby ruining the country site. - This is still ongoing !!!!
I find it also poor when some generations parrot negative perceptions from his enemies.
The new star is now Pak Lah – but since he is in power he did not achieve anything. Public spending has gone down to zero and I don’t see any progress.
It is not the soft gentle heart and manners which push this country forward and we are now talking here about the subject header and about his speech only - and not about local perception of some never happy circles. You want to discuss the PMs achievements, than open a new thread and do so.
Far as his speech is concerned he is right. The world is ruled by an invisible Government.
They extent their power via money as they are controlling the worlds wealth. This game is not about personal preferences of PMs, but only about who understands best the mechanisms of hegemony. Read http://www.mailstar.net/money-masters.html think - inform yourself some more and think again before answering. It might be important amongst your friends to have always a quick answer – but here only quality of thought counts. So take your time and think, before repeating your prefabricated opinion which you apply on anything that comes - don’t take this as offence again….
It is easy bashing people, alone I don’t see good arguments for that. It is obvious that strong autocratic people with a clear vision and the energy to see to the result are frequently disliked.
I am therefore not looking at the emotional part that Dr.M stirred up during his reign. I am only looking at his vision and his achievements. We can also make a negative list, but this would not benefit the forum.
Dr.M understood, that money can only be created out of Government debt and Malaysia’s resources sold abroad.
What do you people think where the value of a Ringgit comes from?
To create money, the Government has to issue an IOU (called a Bond) of any value. For example take 100 Million. Against this the Bank Negara will issue the money.
Where did they get the 100M ? They created it out of thin air against the Governments IOU and credits this to the Governments bank accounts.
This is whats called ‘pure fiat’ currency. There is no value behind other than the governments promises to pay again ‘pure fiat’, when the IOU becomes due. In other worlds:
"The Currency cannot be redeemed, or exchanged, for Treasury gold or any other asset which the Government might own.
The value of the money is only of bookkeeping significance."
A Government has to issue just enough money to cover all bills for products made and services rendered by the entire country. This is called GDP (Gross Domestic Product). If they issue more its called inflation. If its less ‘disaster’ as some will not get paid as there is a under coverage.
This 100M is now available for Government to pay for services and they are issuing cheques against this credit. Also pay cheques. If you cash your pay-cheque by your private bank, they will get reimbursed from the Government bank - !
Here comes the catch – in order to make the bank to keep this cheque uncashed, they are given an incentive. They are allowed to create practically their own money in from of credit and charge somebody else interest. They have to keep a minimum reserve of say 10%. i.e. in our example of 100M they keep 10M in their fault and issue 90M credit for which they can charge interest.
If you or me is issuing credit – this is not money creation. In other words, only if Governments go into debt, will money be created. The only other way is to sell natural resources abroad – like Oil, Palmoil Tin etc. and get forign exchange for that, but here comes the next problem of converting it into Ringgit.
Who determines the Exchange rate – well there is a Bank in Switzerland called BIS – Bank for International Settlement – and this bank will determine it. They will tell a country to deposit with them a large sum of money – usually in dollars – and than they will fix a exchange value for that country. This means Malaysia had to sell lots of resources and change them into dollars, which it could not keep – but had to deposit as a currency reserve with them.
Only from than onward is a country capable to trade with other countries.
Now we could look at the International way (scam) how they are doing the exchange – but I like to limit this here to the local value of money. Trust me its getting worse the deeper you look into it.
So now we learned how local money was created and how much its worth.
The rules for handling this money is called ‘monetary rules and economic’ a teaching which was invented by the ‘Elite’ as if it was a law of nature – and all follow it – because the others are also following it and they all become rich, who follow this ruleset and keep quiet about the scam.
For Government there comes a day when they have to repay the debt. Their only income is again taxes and natural resources. If they don’t have enough money collected, they can simply issue another bond and long as they are paying the interest they are save and credit worthy.
Now what happens when Government stops going in debt and the resources are owned by private companies. Well you guessed it right – they are technically bankrupt – but actually not. The result is simple – there will not be enough money in circulation and hence the economy is creeping backward.
Look at the US who spend now trillions of dollars on that war – those trillions flowed into lots of pockets and mostly in America. When they seen such a lot of money coming – they all bought houses and reinvested it again.
Most were happy and reelected Bush, since his wars brought them lots of money.
Now did I sidetrack? Dr.M understood this all and he went into debt.
He issued lots of money during his reign and this money filled many lazy peoples pockets. What do you think who paid for small housing projects like USJ? Certainly not Pak Lah.
