Kanban is Japanese but also sounds Chinese where
Kan = look, see
Ban = board (I think)
Hence Kanban means "notice board"
Originally, this Kanban had postings by Jeff alone and involves issues like house breakins, robberies, car thefts and the like.
As we will be shifting to our new Forum engine soon, i believe the Webteam will recover most of the old stuff. So, don't hold yr breadth while we wait for the resurrection.

I think Eric is saying that the meaning of "Kanban" as given above is correct.
