i 4get that it is a muslim restoran
WHilst the muslim forummers won't mind sitting next to us, the mamak bossman will definitely object...

I was thinking about my bikers' gatherings in cafes, pubs restaurants in both m'sia & thailand...never knew nor care, if the bossman was a muslim, christian, buddhist, atheist,pray-2-$-god, whathaveu.

Man, i am getting too sensitive for my own good

hope2c some old young friends there...hic! at Chinese restoran?? how??

May I suggest we keep away the bottles and save it for another day other that first Friday of every month. We must project a good impression that we are serious people interested in community matters and always want to be useful. The moment we start drinking from the bottle, there goes our reputation of a good neighbourhood down the monsoon drain. I am also afraid that certain quarters will start to twist and screw and blend this episode which will be detrimental to our well being. Let me bring the groundnuts to feed we monkeys who are not so fortunate to attend Parliamentary sitting and let there be free flow of teh tarik. At tonight TT session, I am going to suggest an indecent proposal to raise fund for our fellow forumer Yvonne Foong.

Yvonne will be bring her t-shirts for sale, so bring your moolah.

Uhhhh....PC, I oughta give you a banana now for calling our good neighbours "monkeys". Or did you say you were paying for the TT - "...let there be free flow of teh tarik..." ? Maybe I can keep the banana in that case.

...I was looking forward to the wine but let's respect the Muslim shopkeeper

Yes, the bill is on me this round because I want to express my sincere thanks to all of you for your prayers, care and concern during the time when my wife was admitted in the Sunway Medical Centre for aneursym (life threatening)and we needed all the divine help and support from friends near and far. She managed to pull through this difficult time and the doctor has given her a clean bill of health (she participated in the 5km Subang Jaya Fun Walk two weeks ago) and therefore I am obligated to pay this bill from the mamak. See you guy tonight.

    PC,
u spoilt sport! PLUS lets give the muslim forummer a bit of respect for their openess (unless otherwise refuted)...who are we to say they will be offended just bcos I get sips from plastic cup of matured grape juice?

None of my muslim brothers & sisters ever got offended sharing table with me while I was downing barrels of oats, barleys and ryes.

Lets us (non muslim) not be too islamic than Pas, shall we?

Yang Akan Bertehtarik lato tupai in USJ but Yang Akan Berbeer in Bangsar with many muslim friends....

I'd hate to say this (becoz, I was looking forward to the free wine ) but I believe PC is more concerned that we are drinking it in a Muslim establishment (the mamak shop) so the concern is the mamak boss (of the shop), altho we know our muslim bosses in USJ are very tolerant of our vices.

BTW, where was Mon and Tupai? Perhaps went for a joy ride on Tupai's rumbler?
