I was mussing to myself on this scenario. We have these 2 ladies who have just passed their driving test. Can you picture this scenario of Charmain and LOL heading from opposite direction towards the Stadium Curry House and we are all there sitting smack between them enjoying our teh tarik? 1) hahahahhahaa....I have started driving around, but always make sure that my husband is with me. He is there to say: go go go faster, look infront don't bother about the car behind, go ahead after you hon the fellow...don't stop....go go go.....are you tall enough to see ...mauhahahahha......hmmm...so far guess i am fine, but too bad all the time with auto....now ...what is manual

Gosh, I really symphatise with Charmain. I thought the only thing that makes sound in the car is the car speakers. Now Chevrolet has to change its advertisement as well. They say that the only sound that you will hear in a Chevrolet is your heart beat. Well, now we know that it also includes over concern husband sitting next to a spouse who just acquire a driving licence

Wow.. Charmaine is lucky to hv a gutsy hubby.. my mom refuses to accompany me. Maybe my dad will come over and watch me drive a bit. He was giving me a nervous laugh when he said ok to my suggestion of borrowing his car for a spin.
My prob is lack of use of brakes. hehehe.. My instructor kept yelling "too fast, too fast!!!" in mandarin. 60kmh on Kesas is going to make a lot of people mad duh... All those cars zooming past me.
Too bad i missed the meet today. No transport. Just vegetating at home.. like sayur asin now in this heat.
Aiya... now i hv to wait 1 more mth to meet up with u lot. Hope u all had fun anyway

ERr....Orchi had lots of fun during last night's monthly ritual TT session seeing the regular TT members...PC was late AGAIN as usual....a new TT member joined us last night....n by the look thingy...he is a fine gentleman....
Err...A familiar couple showed up in a cool Hyundai...the wifey who was behind the steering wheel...was piloting the Hyundai around looking for a parking spot....by the look of thingy....she drives well....
ERr...Satish....perhaps Orchi might have gotten a bit dizzy from too much TT...can't recall ever updated you on the drain issue...err....come to think of it....Orchi forgot to bring a pic showing you that the drain is fixed....and the water is flowing again.....n the kids got lesser attacks from the kamekazis(Sp?) mosquitos....
ERr...speaking about dizziness...PC....does Orchi still have to live with the constant mother of my headaches of seeing the ya know what still posted in the home page...even after the issue has been more or less resolved by the relevant authorities?
Orchi is sure that you, John and Satish....would love nothing better than to see it being taken off soon? Thank you.....

Aiya!! i just looked at my calendar and saw the 1st Sat of Sept is 4th!! Alamak... u people still having it on Sat or Fri? 4th is my grandma's bday. Dont think can escape that, unless dinner is done early and no hanging around till late. Hopefully something can be worked out.

Right now i;m in a foul mood. My daughter got beaten on her palm today for failing her karangan, by her BM teacher who knows damn well she doesnt know malay. imagine, 30 kids in her class got beaten. I dont even beat my kids so who the #### says anyone can beat them? I have half the mind to make a police report considering the marks on her hand are clear enough for photos. ARGH!! What kind of country have i come back to? Proud to be Malaysian my ***.

We have found out that more are keen in having it on a Friday so from this day onward, the sembang session will be a Friday. The next one is September 3rd. Don't worry, we will post a reminder here. All are welcome. When we have the numbers, we will get one of us to volunteer to host the session in his/her house on a quarterly basis. So don't be surprise if the spouse commented "So these are the friends you have been hanging out huh? Next time I want to come too"

Err..if Orchi may say so here also...we should aim to gather at each others' home....more better to foster REALTIME....n personal neighbourhood integration....for the goodsakes of all....Orchi for one is looking forward to this idea of yours becoming materialized very much....as Orchi sees nothing would be more meaningful than this kinda OPEN....upclose n personal contacts with one another....Cheers to having the 1st one at your home....
BTW..PC....one question about this home gathering.....is there a need for a moderator?.....who is going to be the moderator?.....are we going to elect sort of like a permanent one?...is it going to be the host?....or are we going to see who is best for this kinda thingy..?....ahem....just a thought though

orchi. common sense IS the "moderator"... don't think any1 will be getting coloured cards or that sorts at house gatherings but do think of security as some gatherings are "attended" by unwanted guests - robbers!
so better be at a public place, like melur (at least their canai is nicer than stadium's).

BTW....Orchi's eldest is schooling in SRJK(C) Chee Wen....Orchi has verbally given a sort of consent to the headmaster to punish my kids appropriately for whatever unacceptable naughty behaviour of my kids while in the school....but never to be so in such a case like what your daughter has just experienced for her lack of profficiency in any study subjects at school.....
Orchi has spoken to Achee on this matter....seems to Orchi.....Achee sympatizes with your problem as well.....and she maybe able to help out by recommending you with a competent tuitor for your daughter for your additional reference.....ahem....
Anyway....hopes your daughter would get over this unjustified punishment which she got from that incompetent teacher.....
