    Change of Venue

May I suggest the venue changed to Stadium 2? Which is just at the other end of the block. Less crowd and more conducive environment.

Well folks, Stadium 2 is at No 25 Jalan USJ 16/2B (corner lot) which is the other end of the same block as Stadium Curry House which is No 1. I agree with Raymond (are you sure you don't have a share here eh?) about this joint as this end has hardly any visitor. It is not that the food or drink is no good but in any retail business there are 3 factors to look for to determine whether you are going to have a good business. They are 1) location, 2) location and 3) location. I have been there twice and my friends say the mee rebus sold there is boh tak keng - don't ask me what it means as I have zero knowledge of Cantonese. You got to try it lah. So we shall meet at Stadium 2. Don't worry, we will once a while go and round up some strays who may be hanging around at Stadium Curry House. This is our 5th Anniversary celebration. Just turn up

    Date: Friday, 1 October 2004
Time: 9.30pm onwards till we are chased home
Place: Stadium 2 (let me find out the office name)

Click here to see the map. It is the same one.

Let a Cantonese explain it to you. "Moh Tuck Teng" is literally "having no obstacles" hence it actually translates to just being "unbeatable".

I think PCYeoh meant to say that the Mee Rebus is moh tuck teng - it means it is the best.

However, "Moh Tuck Keng" (note that K replaces T) translates to "no discussions", meaning there is no room for negotiations. I think it was a typo by PCYeoh - I don't think that was what he meant. He is a Hokkien guy, and I guess he can be excused for mixing up the intonations - and hence the wrong meaning when heard by a Cantonese.

Err...Hi John - Ahem...all of us here....were having you in mind...so to speak...at last night session...where our Lord(besides the devine one) broke out a funny incident at a particular petrol kioks recently after having met another anthapologist(sp?) who hails from South Africa instead...err..according to Lord(besides the devine one)...he was approached by this SouthAfrican anthapologist(sp?)...asking for some money...said that he had a prior argument with his wife....n she eventually instructed the bank to cancel all his credit cards(gold)...thus he claims that he needed 20 ringgit for gas....of all people on the street...he caught up with...err....our lord

One other thing came to our minds...how are your lovely mate n your darling baby coming along?

Err....on the issue of Boh Tak Keng...Orchi thinks PCYeoh...meant it as lousy...coz Orchi was the only one who tried the mee rebus...n honestly speaking...it was awful!

    Orchi,
    How's the attendance at last night's "Eye-Ball" ?
Btw, I could find the word "Buah Palah" in Dewan Kamus.
But cannot find the word, "Orchipalar".
    Any clue ?

    Err...KeroncongAsli - Ahem...in Orchi's own research...palar is a name of a river in southern India....err....as for Orchi....perhaps IsaRahim....has more knowledge of it....who knows?

The attendance was a greater jolly...n being multiracial malaysians at it to be exact....despite any differences in reallife n in here....we all agreed n believe in democracy....freedom of speech....mutual respects....n the rest thingy are elementary.....n be moving forward positively....

Great turnout, that's the spirit keep it up-man .......
OK, Palar is a river S.E. India. Not bad a username inspite of your roots from Tong San :-) :-) :-)

Indian monuments is also built from Palar Granite. http://www.prweb.com/releases/2004/1/prweb101624.htm

Perhaps, you drop the letter 'D for devil' from the word ORCHID.
    Clever Orchi, ha-ha-ha ...............
