    Monkeys Monkeys

Lately we are seeing so many monkey around usj 1/9-10 areas .Now the monkeys are a nuisance as they climb over the walls and sometimes try to barge inside the houses . A few calls were made to MPSJ .I don't think so nobody is bothered to do anything about it .Will someone who is caring enough highlight this problem again and again untill some action is done .

Please check with the wildlife department or better known as Perhilitan ( http://www.wildlife.gov.my/ ). Most wildlife are protected so don't get on the wrong side of the law.

There is a complaints page on that website

Angry Prisioner In The Own House

I am refering to the no of monkeys that is causing nuisance in USJ1/9 -USJ 1/15 areas . Around 100 monkeys can be seen there and they are sometimes violent and tend to attack children . They can be found on the roof tops and upset all the garbage outside the houses . Wild life was informed and even MPSJ ,Datuk lee all knows about it . Most of them pretend to be busy or just wash their hands . well only those living in these areas know how they are living

We monkeys are playful, honest, community spirited, cares for family, respect elders, dont tell lies, not greedy, free spirited and mind our bizz most of the time.

What do u expect us to do when u grabbed our land (we are the original bumiputras...), chopped our trees, deprived us of our homes, starved us half to death and condemned us to the zoos....

    why?

Greedy developers have usurp their habitat so what to expect the monkeys to feed on, blame the developers and the Wildlife Society.

I think if somebody tell the owner of that "bush meat" restaurant in Puchong this news, the problem will be solved in no time.

This may sound like a silly solution, but why not feed the monkeys near their 'turf'. That way, they won't get hungry and rampage the neighbourhood, and will stay put at their area. After all, they are doing this only because they are hungry. If everyone joins in, they will be full and satisfied and happy to stay where they are and perhaps won't disturb the neighbourhood.

That's the problem with us, we take away their habitat. As a result they end up hungry and have no choice but to look for food elsewhere. And when they become a nuisance, we kill them. So sad.
