good, reliable and used car salesman do not belong in the same sentence.

i bought my car from sunday car mart in state pj. but with ref to used car salesmen - many of the vehicles there are sold by dealerships. i think only on the top most floors are there a lot of private seller. i bought mine from a private seller, but in retrospect, i don't know whether he was genuine. i wasnt too careful and didn't really scrutinise the registration card. he only owned the car for 1 month. i really wonder why. anyway, thank goodness the car is still serving me well... so what i'm trying to say is that even in these car marts, you sometimes can't really rell whether or not you are dealing with a genuine owner...
anyone got any ideas or advice on this?
Call the AAM at USJ (16/2 Jalan USJ 9/5T
Tel: 8024 0808) I know they organise car sales for members that include technical checks, payments etc. I don't know if they also organise the sales, but you can ask.

I'm new and browse through this forum thoroughly and found out there is an organisation that protect consumer, a consumer association named CASSA.
I strongly believe CASSA should do more work on this rather than go and expose some 'Sex Thru SMS Racket!' issue as posted on the forum.
Let the 'Sex Thru SMS Racket' thing be handled by police or relevant board because it is nothing to do with consumer. Let the Neighbourhood watch to handle this in my own opinion.
CASSA should have their clear mission and vision as stated in ISO9001:2000 so that they will not lost their direction and job description. They should protect consumer rather than go and expose crime. OH GOD.. this is crazy..
Don't you feel this is like TNB go and fix the broken pipe?? Or Teacher go and do farming? This is ridiculous!
