When I read Dr_Luv's poem, I thought to myself, oh crap! This 'thing' has done it again. I was actually wondering if the moderators would do anything to the thread but I was (somewhat pleasantly) surprised that they did not, because I am against censorship of all types. However, I would have preferred the moderators be consistent, if the thread posted recently titled 'jesus died for you' was to be eliminated, then this one should be too. We take religion seriously but not harassment? I am still skeptical at the concept of words amounting to sexual harassment but if that's the line we are going to take, then I suggest you give Dr Luv a final warning, if it hasn't been done already.
Anyway, I am going to ignore this cretin Dr Luv as much as I can. Perhaps like a pimple if we don't distrub it, it will slowly go away.
Ok, I have a few more things to add.
Mandy, perhaps you are right that our culture shuns intellectually capable and aggressive women, but I personally have not seen it directly. Perhaps its the company I keep, but Mandy I do hope that you are wrong, or at least I do hope your suggestion is only applicable to the 'older' generation of Malaysians. And I really do hope that there is no aggresive response to EJ's posts just because she is female.
EJ - please do not back down although I have an inkling you do not need any encouragement!
vsat - I would not call the poem 'harmless'. It is very inappropriate at the very best, and I do not know any human being who would write something like that intentionally, and make no mistake about it, Dr Luv does have (hidden?) intentions. As CHL has mentioned before, do you get the strange feeling that you are being pulled around like a puppet?
Also, on vsat's quote about EJ "I hope she tones down this time" - OOoooooo I hope you have your seatbelt fastened!

but I've been around KL's "jungle"....since 1971, in my early teen.
So...I can safely say that....while plenty of you were still swimming in your daddy's....I have already been learning...life....enough to know that the sh.t poem....is a probable case of harassment...!
....for you to prove me wrong....you would have to do better than that.....like running a poll to get feedbacks from the rest of this community....to see who's the one making a fool out of themselves....

He's doing it just to see the responses of the forumers here.
Whether he is doing it for the attention, only he knows.

I think he gets a big kick out of all the responses he has been getting from his posts.
I think he thinks long and hard for the next reply to get the most possible response whether good or bad (preferable bad).
He registered in Jan 2004 as a new member, already posting 80 (2.24 posts per day), basically he is addicted to usj.com web forum or maybe he desperate to upgrade himself to "budiman".
Just ignore if we think that it is not even worth the time for us to type a response. He will eventually lose the "fun" he's been getting.

A particular post here is deeply offensive to forum members in particular and decent human beings in general. As a friend, I urge the person not even to mention vulgar words in the same breath as other comments (twisted justification and sheer hypocrisy) made by him. He is insulting forum members, insult all in general out there. I have heard about freedom of speech but I have also been told that freedom of speech comes with responsibility. Lets have good sense and decency prevails.
Obviously you are not prepared to an open discussion and as not 100% of the forum accepted your personal arguements, you start insulting everybody. Your arguement to do something for the whole thread valid, but the way how you are trying to do it, is the opposite of what you are saying. If you are not capable of an open discussion, then you should learn this first.
The forum give you to say your views. Please use it responsibly. Any statements that belittle another community will be deemed a violation of the usage of this Forum. Tasteless statements and vulgar/harsh words will be one of them, as you very well know.
To demonstrate that our e-community model can thrive and be replicated organically if the grassroot community managed to tap the potentials of Internet and pervasive communications technologies.
To always remain a trend-setter for other communities to emulate and replicate in the e-community model. This would be our gift to the community and the nation.
To demonstrate that political patronage is a hurdle to progressive community development in a liberalized and globalised environment.

What happened to the starting race of Le Tour De Langkawi in Penang? What happened to the traffic coordination with the organisers??
This is a world class event and televised live and to have all the Penang cars and traffic disrupting the race until it had to be cancelled is appaling.
What happened to coordination??
