    lady-O,

Your postings struck a bad chord in me and I have to retort back.....forgive me, if it hurts....

    1. Get your facts **absolutely right about this particular case** before you insinuate that the school's security measures were somewhat inadequate.

    2. Clamp up or you'll sound/look stupid in the **real** world. What's your agenda? Hint: You'll be **real** surprised the final outcome of this case.

    3. For info: it was an unfortunate incident that happened and thank God, all's well that ends well. God was kind and sent a message. The people involved had received it and made amends. Grace be to God Almighty!

    Let this case rest...

    Sincerely,
    FonZie

It never fail to amaze me how a person can talk about 'Grace be to Almighty God' and 'God was kind' and yet can be so unkind and called for somebody to 'clamp up or you'll sound/look stupid' and very unfairly asked 'what's your agenda?' Incredible.

    CHL,

I **did** offered apologies in the beginning....and I signed off with "Sincerely Fonzie".

**Don't** take someone's postings out of context.

    Enough said...

    Sincerely (again),
    FonZie

That is what is even more amazing. Can I call you names and then signed off with 'sincerely'? I am not taking your post out of context. You do not ask somebody to clamp up or she would look stupid and then signed off with 'sincerely' and add in three lines praising God.

    Sincerely,

    CHL

PS And peace be with you. I mean that.

c, lady-o, chl is indeed a gentleman, ever ready 2 defend u. hehhehe. somehow i haven't been able to see how u r supposed to hv "insinuate that the school's security measures were somewhat inadequate." maybe its cos i was never edu in a chinese sch (ppppppp)

aimless, i'm going off aim now just to soup up uchangeng's query. i think the only penalty for such criminals (including murderers, rapists, violent criminals) shud not be death or life imprisonment. these bastards shud be chained spread eagle and lashed till the whip gives way every day for a year (patut cukup) b4 they r let loose on condition that they demonstrate to the world the reward of stupidity. n don't forget to keep their bottoms from infection so that the meat remains fresh for more bite - after each stroke, be sure to apply adequate pure dettol to keep the germs out and then apply iodine generously to promote healing. o, b4 i forget, their heads shud be enclosed in an echo bin while the action is on - helps cut down noise pollution. shali's gonna hv to rewrite the nightmare he witnessed.

one more recommendation, the action shud be captured on film, the intricacy of the moment when rod meets bum shud be captured in close up slow motion and flash back. all fresh candidates shud be given an orientation of whats 2 expect by viewing the film. then hv them view the remnants of those just whacked struggling back to their cells. this way they might be able to write a nightmare in case they do not survive to share their experience. in case shali chickens out of penning his observation.

Fonzie, u say God was kind and sent a message? Did u get the message? It said... "Your child is not safe!!!! do something about it and stop dreaming!!!" God helps those who help themselves and others too. My muslim friends told me that 20 years ago and reminded me of it 5 years ago.

Do u think it is right to place more than 2000kids in the hands of less than 100 adults in a school? Especially when those adults are stressed and overworked with 50kids each class? Did u fall out of bed this morning and bump your head? You think it is fair for 50 parents in each class to place their child's safety in one teacher's hands every working day? Parents should offer to help where possible and school administrators should learn to accept and work out some kind of system to allow parents to help without being a burden. It is such a simple thing to put to work. it will be carried on year after year even when the older batch leaves.

Barely a few days afer the Lick Hung case, another child gets murdered on her way to school. What does that show? Her screams were heard but people thought it was the sounds of children playing. See how complacent people get? See how ignorant people get? Next thing u see is a pic in the newpapers of family member crying at the scene. What does that tell you? The Will of God? No! Only that some misguided person who has no faith in God has decided to take the life of someone else's child away. Make amends? You tell that to her family. Maybe u should fly out to east Malaysia and tell her family that. help them overcome their grief. Carry the teachings of God to them. Console them. Try that and let me know how it goes. Maybe u can set up a hotline to help console those who hv had their child kidnapped, raped or murdered. Maybe God sent u to this world to do that. Might be your calling.

CHL dear, Thank you once again for standing up for me in my absence. You're an angel.
Joker, too bad our kids arent in the same school eh? Maybe in a few years? hehe.. We can terrorize the PIBG meetings. heheh..

P/S: anyone know what the statistics are on kidnap and rape cases in this country annually?
In case anyone would want to know, in Taiwan, if there is more than one kidnapper involved in a case, then it is mandatory death sentence, a bullet thru the head.

Oh Btw Fonzie, apology accepted since u were 'struck' possibly in the head? Peace to you.

The Cruel Dealth of A Child

    To Concerned Folks & Parents,

As a parent to 2 young boys, I am constantly fearful of the possibility of my children, being subjected to any harm, whatsoever..

This is never a joking matter, & should never be taken lightly of.

When I first heard the news on the recent kidnap case related to Lick Hung, reality hits me harder, as this incident can take place anytime, anywhere, our children are exposed to, whether in public or private places.

But then enroute to Bintulu, I felt one of the worst fear of my life, when I read the news, about the brutal killing of the 10 years old child.

But then the next instance, I realize the worst was not in my fears of this brutal murder, rather it is what lies ahead for my own & all the innocent children everywhere else.

Only so recently did I also vividly learn of the killing of another child & the nanny in Klang...what is becoming of our world here these days?

Please can the ones out there who might still not be awaken by this, try to come to some sense, before they attempt to address over these nightmares that are occuring for real here??

Lets work together on this, please, guide me through, show me how & what best to do....rather than them vomiting out rubbish from the mouths...or the worst ever...to have actually penned those nonsense..to the public!

Offended, be the guilty ones whom may feel from my personal remarks here, I am challenging them..to correct my bad manners..come on...& if it is going to be the last thing I can do..to the s.o.b. (who's done it to the kids)..I would..!

These recent brutal killings brought me back to many years ago, and if anyone else could recall...a 7 years old girl was brutally raped & left bleeding to her death..it was so horrible that, the press were facing difficulties to use the words to express the kinds of sufferings & pains that the child had suffered from the brutality at the time...before her dealth.

What else does it take to remind you of the inhumanity of these "demons", & by the fact that these "demons" are amongst our surrounding, please suggest & do the meaningful instead of..

    chris.

    Hi Chris..

Yes, i agree that we should all try and find a way to put a stop to the lack of safety for all children. Nothing can be accomplished without some effort from schools since that is where our children spend a lot of their time at, and also at day care ctrs, as well as tuition ctrs. All areas near schools should hv adult supervision all the time even if to help kids across the roads safely. That way cars dont even hv to stop directly in front of the school gates to drop the kids off , making huge traffic jams in the process.

If we are all given a chance to put our heads together, we as parents can make it work. It will take a bit of time to get used to it all but it can work out. It has proven to be effective in Taiwan, so i am sure it can be effective here to. In Taiwan, more kids walk to school everyday than here. Even Std1 kids walk to school alone. U dont see school buses like here.

I hv yet to hear when there will be a PIBG meeting at the schools my kids are at. I am still waiting.

Stay safe... we can only do our best and hope for the best.

Safety of Children in Public Places & Schools

Dear Lady-O & Folks out there,

TQ for the encouraging words & strong intentions, in the attempts to better the children's safety & welfare.

Even nicer to learn that the general public still have the decency & due diligence to do what's right, especially with our growing children being expose to the other negative & cruel elements.

To some of the other bunch of people who couldn't even care much about themselves in the place, you might have been succumbing to becoming more evil & sick, day by day...

Sure, in defence, those people might go on & say that they are only human..not being perfect, have certain rights..and all that...cr.bs?

Well, here again this is what I have to say to them... at the least....if they couldn't even bother to try to be kind to others..they could instead....just keep theirs'.. you know what.... in between their legs..rather than in their own mouths....

To these pack of demons....don't expect me to apologize to you..& you don't deserve to be amongst any community..period!

    chris.

P/S: ....the same offence is addressed to the inhuman ones, who recently shot out their fouled mouths re: Sri Hartamas's Brutal Murder...only when you are able to gasp through the same agony & pains, being endured by all the relatives & friends of the victim.. you are not fit to be humans...
