    Truth On Blocking ICMP Packets

    well.. what ya all think?

i certainly won't take their excuse which is block icmp packet to prevent the virus/trojan from spreading..

but instead to stop smart users to perform traceroute and pings and complain to them bout the routing and latency...

now without ping and traceroute, we got no prove to say that their network is bad even when their network got problem.....

don't ya think it's weird that they block the icmp until today december 18 2003?

tm net has no experience and prudent engineers in managing crisis. They should get some experts to tackle the ping flood/virus attacks problems. Stop giving excuses. Stop giving the "Malaysia Boleh" BS.

    We have suffered enough!!

But pinging and tracert that people normally do when they feel their network is slow SLOWS down the network even further. So perhaps it does have some merits?
