    Local Draft Plan 2035 for Subang Jaya

    There is an existing plan for Subang Jaya by the MPSJ
    It is the MPSJ Local Draft Plan 2020

    This will be replaced by the Local Draft Plan 2035

    It was reported in TheStar - Metro News 19 October 2018, Friday - please read it

    From the news, it was mentioned that

    The public can view the draft plan, and make suggestions or raise concerns, at
    • MPSJ Headquarters lobby,
    • MPSJ Hypermedia Library in Bandar Puteri Puchong, and
    • MPSJ Hypermedia Library in the 3K Complex, Seri Kembangan,

    until 12 November 2018 from 9am to 4.30pm.

    What this means is that if your house is next to a field, a playground, a lake, an empty mpsj/sel govt plot of land and then one fine morning, you wake up to lego block of flats, or a graveyard or a hospital or a loud or smoky place of worship, then you know u r deservedly screwed... becos you didn't bother about this local plan...let alone peruse, object or do anything.. Then it's fait accompli and a little too late to kick own butt.

    Last week went to MPSJ to submit my objection on the Local Draft Plan 2035 on the change of land use from Recreational to Commercial to turn Subang Ria Park into high rise commercial lots. Also found out the amnesty period to legalise your unapproved renovation ends on 31st December 2018. The response can be considered poor. Wonder whether they will ease out their compliances to make it easier and cheaper for straight forward plans which form the bulk of the estimatef 30,000 renovations under MPSJ jurisdiction.
