    Air tickets

    Has anyone found out that booking on line airticket direct through airline ,are mostly book? nowadays need to book from internet agent who charges more? Last month flying back from Perth , the plane was suppose to be full but it's half empty. Anyone can explain.? Need to fly again on 19th this month to Perth but charges are exhorbit

    No hard and fast rule. Sometimes direct on airlines website is cheaper, sometimes travel sites. Just look at all angles. Also Air Asia not always cheaper than MAS by the time you add in luggage and meals.

    i suspect most airline sold some seats to airline website.

    Jan, not completely true..

    Wifey booked 6 tickets to Wellington 2 weeks ago for in-law family trip.

    Still plenty of seats from MAS and Singapore Airline.

    Most likely reserve/allocate some seats on a standing order basis.

    If you book before 31st July, it was only AUD425 ...KL/Perth/KL....MAS

    Actually flight tickets are a lot more cheaper now with more airlines flying from KL to their home countries.

    I remember in 2007, only MAS flew to Japan. A round trip ticket to Osaka is RM3600. Now, with JAL and ANA, only RM1700 to Tokyo and about RM2000 to Sapporo which is longer distance than Osaka. Also, only MAS flew direct to London and Paris last time, no Air France and British Airways from KL.

    Jan, the apps Google Flights monitor airfares for you...I get regular notification KUL-Doha-Berlin-Doha-KUL from at least 4 airlines. Prices range from Rm3K to Rm9K depending on season.

    I use this one: skyscanner.com but also check with google and kayak.com for comparison.

    Even Amex have theirs https://travel.americanexpress.com.a...6841101-bau2.0
