where to buy ping pong bat?

After a few decades hiatus, I was smashed by a ping pong bug recently and now, is in urge to get more... I didnt know that it i so difficult to find a decent bat. Decathlon sells simple, feather weight bat for under Rm10...and its more a toy for children than anything else. Nah, subang parade sports world etc do not stock the kinda bats i preferred either...so anyone to pin me the direction?

Q: where can i buy a decent pencil grip pingpong bat without smashing my bank account?
Smashing my bank account means I saw in the internet, bats can be priced up to Rm900.00! I mean, there are also those around rm150....But I aint no world class player lah. Something decent with a bit of weight and feel is good enuff lah

went di...they have a nice & informative chart with 'graded' bats for beginner to Advance players...but they sell only 1 grade: a negative -2 below beginners! And under rm10 each...

Yeah yeah, I agree, its not the bat, its the player.
Like for e.g. Tiger wood can beat me in golf while playing with a hockey stick, and ogling at a hottie Indonesian caddie same time! Anyway, i was looking for a pencil hold. Not used to handshake hold.

Buying a RM900 bat wll give you advantage when your opponent might think you are a A list player. He will shiver to the spine.

allow me to digress a bit to other game...

I used to play squash weekly with my colleagues. I started the trend "don't give face" to bosses in my previous company regardless of white, yellow, black, brown or any colour in between, whacked them kau kau during the game. Squash is a fantastic game to get sweat, it needs fast acceleration and burn hell a lot of calories within short time.

I had given up on squash because :

    1. need to find someone who has the free time at the time when you are free.
    2. need to have an opponent who is about similar standard, not too good or too terrible compares to you.
    3. need to find the blardy squash room.

    (3) is the real problem. Nowadays, squash is dying and you hardly see squash room being part of standard features in condo design unlike last time. Many condo facilities are designed for pussy sports like don't-know-what recreational sports, yoga deck/room...

Jogging is still the simplest and easiest … only needs a pair of good running shoe.

You can play against yourself. Should be about the same standard and be free at the same time

Yes... I did it quite often especially when the treadmills are fully occupied.

Usually expedite the calories-burning and kill the "game" fast by using the yellow-dot ball. I'm sure you know what I mean if you like squash too...
