another missing link is the payment part from the "customers".

The driver need to pay to himself who pretend as different customers.

How the payment mode and transactions recorded in the app ??

I haven't used uber or grab service before. I'm not sure whether cash is allowed as payment mode.

If not allow, how many credit card or debit cards the driver must use in order to generate enough transaction for rm20k ?? It must be hundreds of card and can this be possible to have so many credit/debit cards ?

If cards are used, he is practically paying money to the e-hailing company, not to himself and this outflow of money cannot be refunded.

Worse is as a customer let say he pays rm20 via card ... but as a driver he definitely get less than rm20 from the e-hailing company.

No matter how many somersaults that Monkey King try to do in his journey to the west to grab the quest is mission impossible to avoid the detection of the creator and developer of the apps.
And no way that guy with that secret recipe can make 20 pounded durian cake.

The pickups from e hailing is based on algorithm which is a process or set of rules to be followed in calculations or problem solving operations.

The best sauce of informations on how tips and tricks how much you can grab are from the open book in low yat .com and closed groups in FB. There you can find how many been fried as aspiring e drivers trying to outwit the system to make extra bucks. You can also find out how many real drivers predicaments with the rates and navigations which makes them lose monies in pickup to types of riders that stress you in pickups. In 1 closed FB group for Uber drivers, there are about 80,000 of them from all over MY country where there are constant updates within minutes.

Once I got into trouble of asking a Uber rider to book a ride to KLIA for himself at his Mont Kiara home and I was hauled up for questioning. I parked near his home location and got the ping from him after ignoring two other pings. He wanted to me to pickup as I probably amazed him once getting to KLIA in the shortest time without speeding over limit and his payment was in credit card and enjoyed my company. And the Uber is making 25% commission from that ride and I am not really cheating at all in my selective pickup in the pakatan deal.

After that, I still pick him up and his friends but on cash only with my own pigeon pickup apps.

Just thinking aloud why that monkey god disclose his secret recipe to a anonymous rider how to make a killing over 20K? A fake would try to get the attention to boost his ego. That is my theory to my journey from Uber west to Grab pickups in the east.

There are ways and means to maximise income and to cut unnecessary costs like paying tolls just to pick up riders to avoid waze navigations that sometimes waste your gas and time.

In my early days as Uberman, I was cruising around like a blind batman while trusting Waze navigation apps like gospel truth or absurd pickup location which is miles away. Not anymore.....I get smart over the period with my real experience and other drivers experiences in Low yat to FB sauce.

The other problems of self pigeon app pickup is the incentives being forfeited as it is not recorded in Uber quest rides where i get extra Rm100 to Rm150 per week. But then the target is sky high with 80 rides a week!

And my riders cannot leave thier marks on the apps with 5 stars rides and badges of honor to compliments.

However, I get paid directly in cash and without 25% fee from the riders who have had become up close personal friends. And they are happy that it goes to charities.

    Really.... OMG

I have been usung credit card for almost ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING every time in overseas from USD1 to USDxxxx.

Here is one example. ¥110 is like USD1.03 or around Shringgit 3.9 !! I think it is for a bottle of mineral water...

The CC slips after a trip are beyond counting. When I received the CC statement, I have to ask a big favor from my beloved friend/assistant. She will help me to sort the slips according to chronological order and sometimes even arrange them to categories like food, transport, misc...

p/s : where can I find such sorting service after retirement !!

Last night, going to Portofino, Bangar, by GRAB, a Malay lass was our driver.

    I asked about GRAB.

She said "not bad" and it would have been better if she does not have to rent a car. According to her, the car rental costs her RM500 weekly. Therefore she has to pay RM2,000 for the rental per month.

Aiya, then how many hours are you driving. She said 12 to 14 hrs.

So in a month, she can only get total about Rm4,700.

So hard working...Gave her a good tip.

    You trust her story !!

She can get a new proton or Myvi with less than RM1000 instalment per month.

Maybe less than RM600/month for a 2nd hand proton or Myvi.

Wonder why she wanna rent a car for RM2000 per month ??

With Uber pulling out, GRAB may increase the fare.

But MyCar is making its debut soon.

Whatever it will be, with such competition, it gives the consumers more choice to pick between GRAB, MyCar, Taxi and that most expensive Blue Cab.

That Blue Cab eg in KLCC, you have to give RM5 to the Taxi kiosk before you can get into one.

It is a total ripped off by Blue Cab. Why I said this is because a distance of A (KLCC) to B cost costs about RM35 + RM5 for that Taxi Kiosk, total is RM40. Same distance by GRAB is only RM11.00

    Bye, bye, Taxi, Blue Cab.

BTW, I know that Blue Cab is supposed to be higher class. That RM5 charge by that kiosk is a shame and a daylight robbery.

They feel entitled which is pretty disgusting.

And they are wondering why they are losing business. LOL.

When they introduced Blue Cab, it was RM2 at the kiosk.

If you look at KLCC, the queue of empty Blue Cabs is very long. Hardly any tourists use them. I noticed PRC Big 6s use GRABs even in KLIA and KLIA2.

All that man at the kiosk do is ask where you want to go. He writes it down and pass it to the 1st Cab. Less than a minute work and that is RM5.

That service is as good as a Doctor's pay.

    Crooks they are
