It makes sense to me to save some ringgits in tolls and gas whenever I go to Putrajaya immigration or other administration offices to pick up riders with the same designation. These designations can be set twice daily.

In Grab, I can only select to drive 1 car only with just 1 single phone. Even if I insert the SIM card into another phone device, it doesnt work and have to call for customer support to rectify it. The response from Grab may takes up to 5 days but Uber response is almost immediate within minutes to hours to resolve issues from system glitches or in correct payment to making riders complaints.

What is the shame of rending service while I am enjoying it and getting compliments from the riders? IMHO it is an honor to help damsel in distress at 1 to 3 am working overtime as programmer or accountant apprentice at 1st Avenue Bandar Utama to offer safe ride home. Others prefer hip hop to flip flop but I prefer badges of honor in my rating record where it speak for itself by anonymous riders. https://www.facebook.com/zinglicious...80098808700544

Heck, I am happy to pay for the service render to have hotties sitting beside me showing off thier hot legs. Cheaper than Mama san service at jalan Pudu or Imbi nightclubs. It only cost litres of petrol. Moreover, I am better in nooks and corners of the KL city in my Uberman experience.

I am stating the facts and figures of those blurred sotong drivers who thinks they are milking money from thier cart.
I am shocked of Budiman attitude..........

The best thing in my Uber days and I can still Grab the future actions past midnite for pickups as I doing without hidden agenda of scouting for mistress simply because my wifey trusted me in my good cause.

After all, I am just simply Olde Mean Chef who is already Hawaii 5 - 0 series. Sumore, with a heart of two stent rings? Who would have fall for my cooking stories?

Best of all, there are requests from regular riders to pick them up if I am still awake at that hour where they feel safe and sound to thier rented homes from 1st Avenue office block. Sometimes they even belanja kopi or tarik teh as a sign of gesture OTW back. Now that is sweet and priceless.

It's ok if this is his interim job.

Young people should not waste their young age doing job which has no entry barrier.

I met a Uber driver who picked me up as a rider. He just 30 plus and had a mild stroke attack. And he is still driving hard. "Apa boleh buat, tak cukup cari makan untuk sekeluarga?" iSayman " tapi doktor tarak cakap duduk berjam jam boleh buat you stroke attack lagi? He looked at me perplexed and I continued to ask him to tell his doctor or perhaps to find out more about stroke attack.

For young folks and jobless, Uber is a good temporary job experience to gain customer interaction. For old folks, it is a good to cruise around. Just ensure of overdoing it. kereta rosak tak apa tapi kesihatan jangan sekali.

Yesterday, my GRAB driver was a young Chinese lass.

She should be only 25, pretty and driving skills boleh tahan in KL roads.

For some reasons I agreed to share this GRAB for the experience which I sort of regrets later.

The other 2 persons had to go to Jalan Ipoh, not too much of a distance from going to Jalan Duta.

My fare was rm11 from KLCC and other 2 boys were picked up from a hotel to Jalan Ipoh and was rm7. Really very cheap.

Yes, kesian this girl and I gave her a good tip

Deserved my respect for kasihan kesian tipping to the lady who driving to cari makan.
A number of riders would be short changed the fare of Rm9.20 by asking Rm1 back.

By the stroke of a change from Uber app which I had intended to switch on I turned on Grab app instead, I probably saved a life!!!

After dropping my wifey at Kepong for a dinner function, I headed for home to pick my dotter for tuition. Instead, she called and prefered her classmate mother to take them. Feeling bored, I was playing around with my Uber and Grab. Immediately there was a request ride. Thought of canceling the request because it was still peak jam time at 7pm but since I am free to cruise , why not? I looked at the pickup and the silly waze showed a longer route with 14 minutes ETA. Heck, I could do it under 8 to 10 minutes for 3 km since it is at my neighbourhood.

Upon arrival, the rider got into my car breathless and complaining of chest pain. I asked where he is going as the address was vague in the app. " hospital selayang". I calmed him down and assured that I get there soonest possible. " you are lucky enough to get me as I know the way to pick you sooner than expected and I know how to get you fast to Selayang ER. " "I am not sure what you have but to panic would only worsen your ability to breathe probably. try to breathe slowly and steady. Trust me , I know a bit about medical emergence."

About 5 minutes later, he stabilised a fair bit. I told him about medical expectation and he nodded to say "I understand a bit as I am a Chinese Sinseh. Thank you." Another 5 minutes more we reached ER where I got the nurses and told them the guy needed immediate medical attention in a wheelchair as he may have a cardiac arrest.

Phew, I even told him that he is not to die in my car because I am one of the top rated e hailing driver. And I was send to his pickup by a surprise turn of luck on Grab. And I can get him to ER to stay alive!!!

He even had time and strength to reach for his purse to pay the fare and thanked me.

This must be the most satisfying e hailing or e healing ride for me unexpectedly in Sejarah Hari Ini. I am honored to play a part to help the hapless guy struggling for breath. And the fact he did not died in my ride. Hallelujah to Amentaubat......PRICELESS.

Just asked a GRAB Chinese driver last night about that claim of RM20K monthly income.

    "Possible?" I asked

"Possible, even RM30K is possible." He said

    "How?" I asked

    1. buy many sim cards.
    2. Have many emails
    3. Have a few phones

This can only be done during PROMOTION within 5 km distance.

Use 1 phone with 1 sim card, call for a cab.

You answer & take the route.

Once you reached that destination, use next sim & call for a cab.

You answer & take that route.

Keep doing this and money keep rolling in from your Cab Company and that is how 20k to 30k monthly income is possible.

I think the missing link of this driver story is the number of phones (callers).

A few phones cannot generate enough transactions to achieve 20k per month. It cannot be the same few callers (same phone numbers) calling within the 5km distance whole night and day, everyday.

How many phones or phone numbers can the driver use to generate that kind of RM20,000 fee ??
