Uber has finally bungkus thier entire SEA operation to Grab after the sell off the China operation to DiDi couple years ago. I would be changing my Uber black tuxedo attire to go green suited as Grabman soon. Would be sharing my up close and personal experience as a driver and rider in the Grab platform.

In the last 10 days in Langkawi and KL, I used GRAB.

During the Taxi days in KL, a normal trip between A & B would cost RM28 to RM36 is now only RM11.

Besides I still can award Stars and comments.

Just used GRAB to go to Noble House, KL.

Half way, road closed.

Driver had to go one hugh round.

E hailing from Uber to Grab do not make ringgit and sense after taking into account of all costing into factor. From petrol to engine oil, car maintenance and car depreciation drained all the profit into longkang. In my 1 year of driving, two tyres kena puncit to 8 tyres being changed. The apps will direct you to pick up riders from 10 to 20 km radius, only to give them 1km ride sometimes with fare of RM3. Minus that and the toll to cross the line, it is like giving free charity ride at your own expense. if you are blurred sotong. And Grab do not compensate you for the pickups and if the riders do not turn up to take your ride upon arrival. Worse, you will be penalised for the cancellation.

It makes ringgit if you wanna to pick up riders to and fro to work or home where somebody is chipping in with the fares. And it makes sense to pick up hotties if you are free or damsel in distress to get them safe and sound home. Gone are the days when Uber to Grab started the operations to recruit MY drivers where they reportedly made RM20K with 10 hours of pickups incentives and rates. After that, the new johnny comes lately being sucked from RM2.95 to RM0.95 per KM rate and insensitivity incentive. I applied a private uni nearby for the position of Senior Lecturer (School of Engineering and Applied Science), the online recruitment agency replied with a notice for interview appointment but the salary offered is less than RM20k per month.

Summore, it is stated in the job scope that the job may require to work on weekend if there are activities like campus open day, career week or VIP visit...!!

I am happy as a free birdie flying around towns to cities. Mana ada komplain?

Heck, I am happy to pay for the service render to have hotties sitting beside me showing off thier hot legs. Cheaper than Mama san service at jalan Pudu or Imbi nightclubs. It only cost litres of petrol. Moreover, I am better in nooks and corners of the KL city in my Uberman experience.

Someone again try hard ....very hard to stalk with misleading hips and hops with never ending vengeance particularly in the threads which I started.

His comprehension should be good enough but he choose to spit snake venom where he twisted about Porsche or Jaguar.

iSayman - I wasnt driving Uber 5 years back then and that statement should have clearly pointed out other drivers at that time whether they are millionaire or graduate with 1st class honor. And insinuating Jaguar or kuda drivers should be paid Rm20,000 by Uber is uncalled for. It is just not cheeky but deliberate not budiman to be snake-like in the bushes.

BTW, there are many non graduates who are millionaires to billionaires who earn more. My brother in law who never attended high school bought a brand new Audi on cash and owned many pigeon holes for rental. So are the other friend who dun even write Bahasa to Mandarin or English but owns factories to plantation lands. Best of all, the couple who own a motorbike shop can afford to hold dinner at 5 stars hotel and donated every angpows to Tzu Chi charity. Yet they are budiman about it without crying out loud for attention or bitch about it.

Gross or nett? And it comes without no sick or annual leave public holidays and 711 job. No Christmas bonus and if accidents or car pancit where it means no income or medical benefits.
