Tell me if none is good enough for you.
Since you asked .......Of course they are not good for me or I am not good for them either since I dont think they would award me any fool scholarship. If they do, I may consider taking up the laws of attraction. At my age, i prefer to chase hotties with Ferrari or Lamborghini than spending years in the lecture rooms and eating at the canteen. I believe in 1 chicken drumstick on my hand than 2 turkeys in 5 years when I graduate at age 60. who gonna to hire a dirty old man?

This is suppose for those parents who wants to compare notes what and where to go to further thier children education. Taking into account of value of monies spent on the courses to marketability of degree and honors obtained once they graduate and leave the university on ROI.

Food for thoughts.....as reflected by the numbers of unemployed Malaysian graduates, it is worthwhile to spend the monies to further education?

Even the total cost of getting culinary art as a chef is not chicken feed either. Tuition fees alone cost more than RM50k without living expenses for 4 years course at Taylors. Quite a number of them after graduated are not working as chefs.......judging from my FB where they were my former diners at Zinglicious Subang.

It is the same story where graduates from One Academy which is touted to be the finest college in animation and fine arts. Many graduated but ended up with realistic muscle careers instead with Pixar or Disneyland.

ZIng, lu jangan manyak negative la.! One Academy graduates wanted by many advertsing companies. My niece with a diploma went for internship for 3 months last year end up working for them without completing her degree with a pay of RM3500 with breakfast and car park.Apa lagi lu mau.It is always wothwhile to send children overseas to explore , learn to be independent without the comfort at home. It's sort of living skills. Ini saya mampu dan mau.

I am just the messenger .....these are the stories collection in my encounters.

BTW, without even graduated with 1 One Academy degree in animation or advertising, your niece earns better than most of MY graduates. Sumore got free breakfast with Teh Tarik

Simpletons will take fake news, hearsay and gossips as the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. And if that is not enough they will inundate forums and chat groups with this "truth" but not before adding a bit of their own spin/spice/aji-no-moto. Comedians work for money but here we get them free.

You may be the King Kong as 1 eye Jack in whole of blinds where you can fool all people all the time. But in the world of two eyes, you may be able to fool some people all the time, all the people at some time but not all the people all the time but you aint gonna to fool all the people all the time as if you are the King Kong where you think all the people are. simpletons instead of simple folks looking for answer to best educate themselves and kiddies.

Everything you said claimed to be truth that even Wikipedia version is not good for you.
And I challenge you what fake news has been posted in this thread......though it has been hearsay, gossip which may be deemed to hot to handle or too cold to hold its water.

Dun just be like Spice Girl, rock and roll like Elvis, hijacking the thread to show how 1 eye jack to show how smart you are instead of contributing in further education. An educated man would know how to conduct himself with manners and humility instead of projecting himself as 1 eye who knows it all and treat others as simpletons.

Be forewarned that there are many two eyes simple folks residing the forum and reading the threads. They are part of the jury.

As I said, I am just a messenger. In fact, I can reveal another secret recipe that my eldest son actually graduated from One Academy. He got a flair for animation where he got a huge fan base before he went to college. I was actually clueless what is the Mickey Mouse he is trying to do instead of enrolling in more stable bricks and mortar courses. He explained it is not all about Donald Duck but the course entails advertising and media. OK. I had to accept his theory where I could be outdated in this Wawasan 2020 Multimedia age.

Back to the future, he is now with the Singapore Airlines, flying around worldwide from South to the North , East to the West. All the photos showing Sushi in the East to Pastamania in the West instead of Mickey Mouse in LA or Donald Duck Tokyo.

Of course he is not complaining. His salary is being paid in high pitch Sing dollars and he gets to eat breakfast in Singapore and dinner in UK in the company of fellow Singapore Girls stewardess.

I complain that he just wasted his years trying to be animated educated instead of flying around the world sooner. He would be loaded with more Singing dollars and saved the time and monies of getting that animated paper chase which is "worthless" in his flying career.

Please open the other eye to read like a Budiman. If you have nothing to contribute meaningfully in education, please start another thread to make a clown out of yourself like Yell ow Bananaman where you can King Kong instead of hijacking this thread like Pirate 1 eye Jack of the Caribbean.

A real class comedy act either from Bob Hope to Robin Williams do not address his audience as Simpletons.

Here is 1 from Robin Williams giving a free peter pan comedy.

for those who wish to send their children abroad for tertiary education but unable to secure any scholarships nor having financial capability to do so, one possible ideal option is Taiwan.

Taiwan has many state and private universities and the tuition fees are largely regulated and subsidized by govt to make education affordable to its citizens and overseas students

total annual tuition fees and accommodation cost is around RM10k only....cheaper than many local private colleges/universities here
A compassionate heart is a clear and cool place

Before PRC opens door to foreign students, Taiwan is the place for majority of students from Chinese independent school who go there with their UEC results. It is a very different path. One must know clearly what you can and cannot do with the degree after graduating from Taiwan universities.

Those who completed their 1st degree with good grade especially in professional studies like engineering will always try to go to US for postgraduate degree. Chances to get a scholarships is high provided you like the kind of lab/research life for the next few years without income.

Getting a job with your 1st degree in Taiwan is not easy as tertiary education is so common there. It is not uncommon entry level job for 1st degree holders have to face competition from postgraduate degree holders. Lastly, can you handle Mandarin ?? I mean speak and write well, not the rojak-speaking type over here.

Well, doors are always opened for those who are determined and hardworking. I think many SME founders/entrepreneurs here are graduates from Taiwanese universities in the 80s and 90s.

p/s : Having said that, I think no need to study hard la, no need go overseas to further studies also... Just do some animated stuff at 1 academy and you will be able to fly around the globe, have breakfast in Singapore and then dinner in London accompanied by hotties stewardess, summore can earn strong SGD ...

It was norm in yesteryear where the students just got A ONE WAY TICKET TO STUDY ABROAD. To pay for the fees, one would be doing gazillion plates and dishes. Just ask our Tupai and check his history.

And for this guy who was a high school dropout, he was selling hotdogs, fixing iPhone and bicycles to finance his tuition fees at University of California. Instead of buying a house with a stable employment with his degree like most of his countrymen, he invested his monies into a startup where it became Hong Kong’s first US$1bn start-up. http://www.scmp.com/tech/leaders-fou...van-hong-kongs
