The car mentioned above can generate 245hp and the max torque is 350Nm, the on-the-road price is RM180,888.
I read this piece of news today.. https://topgear.com.my/index.php?opt...ews&Itemid=173
" Mercedes-Benz Malaysia’s Dream Car Collection adds another member – the E-Class Coupe, in two variants of E200 AMG Line and E300 AMG Line. Powering the cars are the same 4-cylinder 2.0-litre force-fed engine that makes 184hp/300Nm (E200 Coupe AMG Line) and 245hp/370Nm for the E300 AMG Line. Price for the former is RM435,888 while the E300 Coupe is RM499,888. "
Well, maybe it is unfair to compare a Swedish family sedan with Mercedes AMG but I would expect the power plant inside the Mercedes AMG to be a lot more bigger than a Swedish family sedan especially the price tag is so much higher. To me, the ultimate measure is the power output of the car engine. ALL the materials advancement, design breakthrough and power plant/drive line improvement must be able to reflect in the power output.
Look at the E200, the price tag is 2.5 times more expensive but the horsepower is only 75% of the Swedish family car, and the E300 is 2.75 times more expensive with the same horsepower... !!
