Not sure whether the fatality and liability of driverless vehicle is covered by car insurance..

The current law in England is you have to hold onto the wheel and drive because road conditions is still unfavorable to driverless vehicles.

But you can go driverless but you must pay attention to the roads.

You still can't do anything else eg on the phone, have coffee

Checked with a reliable source in Malaysia.

The Insurance Industry in Malaysia have not discussed this issue yet as of now.

Ya, good engine but three cylinders. No takers, that's why can lock in the price .

I quite like the BMW 330e plug-in Hybrid. Price about 260k with a 5 year warranty + 5 years free schedule service. If not for the tax break on such cars this model will cost 130k more.

My friend want to buy the Subaru XV but sorry they are not taking anymore orders. Current stock all sold out. New stock with SST will cost approx 8k more.

It was RM195k last year December (bulk sales to company), inclusive of road tax and insurance.

Although equipped with turbocharger, it is still grossly underpowered.

The older models come with a 6 cylinder engine. Now we are getting only half an engine.

I think the seat is slightly higher or same as most saloon cars. The cargo space is quite small though unless you fold down the rear seats

How about the soon to be launched Proton (Geely) SUV? It is C-segment though, competing with the Honda CR-V and Mazda CX5 but priced around 100k. It look pretty good in the photos.

We signed an FTA with China. Made in China cars are beginning to arrive. Not to mention that future Protons will be based on Geely models. This is going to be a game changer to the local car industry.

4 yrs ago, i tested this subaru XV and was drifting the car at the Kemajuan loop! The salesman was hanging onto the rail , ditto my 2 passengers at the back. The thrill as really really great... The ride truly brought back memories of the long gone rally days...
While I love that XV feeling, sadly, my decision making pax both decided that the fat lady on sofa is a better choice with more comfy for them... Aye, as later proven when during long haul, both will be soundly asleep! But i digress...

Note to self: as the years creep by, my wanton desire towards tincans whittled down to mere ambering status...My hotties are now all on 2wheels :-)
