Hi all. Just checking where would be the best place to buy a house phone for my Maxis home fibre line. Best as in reasonable (low) prices and in Subang Jaya preferably. Easy parking and the shop should ideally be on the ground floor. Ok, I am expecting too much, I know but I would like to start a conversation in here Haven't had one of those (in here) since this place became a deserted playground.

Obviously, people nowadays don't use cheap house phone, all are using expensive handphone ... or it's really difficult to satisfy your demand for low price phone, ground floor and easy parking place... !!

Hi all. Just checking where would be the best place to buy a house phone for my Maxis home fibre line..

I checked my phone connected to my UniFi (fibre) system and I see it uses the normal phone jack. Therefore I think any land-line phone will work even if your line is fibre. There is a connection box which provides a standard phone jack

With that considered, buying of the standard land-line phone should not be an issue because even departmental stores and electrical shops will still stock the standard phones

I don't understand why you need to look for a house phone, or to know about phone jack (like what mr moderator posted), etc, etc when subscribing a fibre optic connection ??

I thought the installer appointed by the Telco will kau tim everything, no ??

I don't even know what is fibre optic cable or how the fibre optic sneak into my house .. but as long as I have my assstro IPTV and internet broadband beam by the fibre optic, that is good enough...

Hi! If you are still using Maxis Home Fibre, can I check how you find their stability and service? With the current promotions, I am now considering switching to a Maxis Home Fibre though there were many negative comments before. Your comments would be most appreciated. Thanks & Regards.

i have been using Maxis Home Fibre for the past 3 years or more & I would like to let you know that it has been excellent, hardly any disruptions. Their customer service personnel at their call centre do pick up & answer your calls/enquiries. I am going to the Maxis Centre at Sunway Pyramid soon to upgrade my 10MB to the 30MB one but price down from RM148 monthly to RM89 monthly (in fact I went to the Maxis shop in Taipan wanting to change my Maxis plan but they told me this could only be done at Sunway Pyramid).
