    Which cheese brand for wine?

Hi, any recommendation for a suitable cheese to go with wine? A product that is available in local supermarket please.

Generally speaking, all cheeses goes well with wine.

As for a particular type, which I forget, try Jason Supermart at Bangsar Shopping Centre, Bangsar.

Great men think alike I supposed.

In KL, majority of the supermarket sells cheeses. eg, Eh Cold Storage and BIG Ben's.

I was at a vineyard for wine tasting not long ago, the cheese was so so tasty.

We have friends visiting occasionally; I thought it would be a really memorable visit if I could offer them some tasty cheese to go with wine. I have tried various brand of cheese in the past, but haven’t found one that is really nice.

OIC, I had been to several vineyards both in Aussie, NZ, Europe, Canda. In these vineyards where they sell their own brands of wines and they always have the right selected types of cheeses to go along with their wines.

So say if you go to Jason at Bangsar, ask them but it will never be the same as in a vineyard.

I think you cannot get the kind of taste from local stores.

Maybe is the ambient temperature, maybe it's just psychological biasness, the taste of cheese in overseas is always better than here..

Even the same blardy breakfast cheese in O'Brien northern Ireland taste better than the same cheese in O'Brien here. .

You can go to the Jason Food Hall at bangsar shopping centre, many types of cheese for wine are available there. Can't remember the brand as I seldom buy cheese for wine. .

If you want chocolate to go with wine/beer/champagne (which I usually do), just try Godiva from Klcc... or alternatively if Godiva is out of stock at home, ferrero rocher will do...

    Cheers...
