Drink plenty of water (2X usual intake) ... avoid coffee or tea (exception being Japanese green tea) - did that and cleared my system within a few hours when I OD on meat ....
Everyday is a good day for GOOD FOODand a GOOD LAUGH

Simple...avoid all these toxic foods
Not everyone will develop gout.
The amount of uric acid (the cause of gout) in your blood is not caused by food alone. The kidneys’ ability to rid the body of uric acid is partly determined by heredity. If your body can handle the uric acid, no need to avoid shell fish, etc.
If body can't handle the level of uric acid, seek help from doctor, control diet and excercise more..
Because It is related to kidney function.
Maybe you can call a hospital and tell them you want to seek specialist consultation on gout, see which specialist they will recommend ?
Medication... or to be more precise uric acid lowering medicine.
and also expert advice on prevention and treatment of gout
Has Jan got gout before?
Gout is caused by uric acid deposition around joints. But not everyone with gout has high uric acid and not everyone with high uric acid has gout. Confused already?
However the higher your uric acid level the higher chance you have of having an attack. The treatment for the acute attack of gout and to lower uric acid level are totally different. In fact if you take medications for reducing uric acid during an acute attack it may get worse. I am sure everyone is confused now. Better see a rheumatologist (specialist in joint diseases) not a urologist
I am sure the easiest way not to get confused is to blame it on luck
- high uric acid, no gout : good luck
- low uric acid, with gout : bad luck
- high uric acid, with gout : worst luck
- low uric acid, no goat : best luck
When uric acid stones are main stones found in kidney, the rheumatologist will likely refer the patient to urologist..
Last year, my friend gave me a roasted duck and roasted pig head from his Cheng Beng worship and I went crazy devouring them over a period of 2 days. My wife even cooked 'kiam chai boey' which I also whacked. It was a total disaster in the words of Donald Trump.
On the third day morning when I woke up, I felt like I have just stepped onto a booby trap. My God, the pain just shot up my legs to my hips.
I went for accupuncture treatment upon friend's advice. What further pain the needles could cause compared to the daggers that went through my feet. It was of no use so I consulted the good old Dr Google.
So I bought myself a box of URALS from the pharmacy which cost me RM24 and I happened to have Advil, a NSAID (Non Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drug) drugs recommended by Dr Google. Believe it or not, all my pain were gone the very next day. So now if I want to whack those favourite meat of mine, I always prepare the 'antidote' ready and enjoy to my heart contend It has been more than a year I am gout free.
I have a yearly checkup by a urologist form a nearby hospital, mainly on urinary tracts, kidney, prostate, bladder, etc...and blood and urine tests are part of the check-up too.
The range for uric acid in blood as stated by this hospital is : 202 - 417 μmol/L
For the past 10 years

2015 : 336
