    Concerts

Hey Dude, did you see Carole King at age 72 performing i see the earth move? Heard her Tapestry, the song, not the album, for the first time. Beautiful song, great lyrics. They dont write lyrics like that anymore ...

Coincidentally I was contemplating whether to go for the musical coming to town in sept (in Sydney). Not Carole King herself but think it will be good based on the reviews.

Yes I read about that. I am not exactly into theaters and musicals but thought good for a night out with my wife follow by supper. The last we went was to Air Supply (the original cast) couple of years back.

Missed the recent Crowded House concert at the Opera House. Midnight Oil is coming back.

Sounds interesting, though it would have been better if she's there.

At 72, she still looked fabulous, rounder, and i donno... shorter? I still remember her as that big hair skinny blue jeans with the guitar.... i think. I believe i used to have her Smackwater Jack album though cant be sure. She sang a few songs with her daughter ... sho looked on the heavy side.

No, I did not. But I did catch Michael Jackson when he was in Kuala Lumpur. Oh man, that was awesomeness! And I'd gotten free tix too! Awesomeness+! My next dream concert...Barry Gibb.
