USJ was one of the locations listed by Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn. Bhd (Syabas) as affected areas.

This is the first time I was not triggered by Syabas announcement of the impending water disruption. The burst water pipe is near the Carlsberg factory in Section 15 Shah Alam. From my past experience dealing with water disruption, the water supply here in USJ will not be affected as our reservoir, water treatment plant or the dam is not the same as those in Shah Alam. I don't understand why Syabas lump in USJ when announcing the current water disruption.

As far as USJ is concerned, it was a false alarm. The problem never arose. I wasted my time saving up two big pails of water in anticipation of the cut that never came. I wonder which idiot came up with the press release.

Erroneous or inaccurate press releases bound to happen anytime or in the near future.

It was not an error. My kitchen tap did go dry last night, and some dirty water came out of the tap this morning (typical indication of some form of mains water supply interruption). I guess some of you were unaware of it when it happened as it was not a comprehensive disruption, and very likely many locales in USJ were less affected (low pressure rather than no pressure).
