Which would you prefer?

Honda HRV. Sold by Honda Malaysia. CKD. Top spec car is approx RM 120k.

Mazda CX5. Sold by Bermaz. CBU. Only one variant at approx RM 135k.

Toyota C-HR. Will be sold by UMWT. Most likely arriving sometime next year, first in CBU form.

I really like the Toyota with its fresh and radical design but it is taking too long to come. Right now the Honda outsells the Mazda by a huge margin, mainly due the the price, I guess.

All are nice looking cars but a bit flamboyant in exterior image for those who are looking for something more low profile.

If have to choose among the three, Toyota would be the one because of their reputation in building reliable car.

With the exception of those who were born rich or lucky enough to have rich parents who drive big car like Mercedes in the 70s-80s, I believe most of the owners of expensive car on the road now have gone through hardships in life before they can comfortably owning this expensive vehicle.

Some people think the car is expensive because they have to pay 2-3 thousands of monthly installment for a car cost more than 200-300k. I think this is a wrong mindset to start with in buying and owning a big ticket item. One should only buy such item when he can fully afford it, not borrow money to afford it.

There is different stages in life and there are big diversities in people's need and affordability. Choose what you can afford at that stage of your life, why bitch about something beyond your reach.. ?
