Gangguan Bekalan Air Sementara di Subang Jaya dan Puchong

Kuala Lumpur – Beberapa kawasan di Subang Jaya dan Puchong sedang mengalami gangguan bekalan air sementara ekoran paip air pecah di Batu 13, Kg Kenangan, Puchong.

Kerja-kerja pembaikan paip air pecah sedang giat dijalankan sejak semalam dan bekalan air di kawasan terlibat dijangka pulih secara berperingkat selepas pukul 7.30 malam, 21 September 2016.

Kawasan-kawasan yang terlibat adalah USJ 1 hingga USJ 15, USJ 16 hingga USJ 27, Kg Kenangan, Jalan Subang 9 Sg Penaga Industrial Park, Jalan Bandar 1 hingga Jalan Bandar 19 Pusat Bandar Puchong, Jalan Merbah 1 hingga Jalan Merbah 3 Bandar Puchong Jaya, Taman Perindustrian Puchong, Taman Sri Puchong, Kompleks Sukan Rakan Muda Puchong, Stesen LRT Pusat Bandar Puchong, Kg Sri Langkas, Kg Sri Aman, Taman Puchong Intan dan Taman Puchong Prima.

Water disruption in Subang Jaya, Puchong till tomorrow

Certain areas in Subang Jaya and Puchong are experiencing water disruption following a burst pipe at Batu 13, Kampung Kenangan, in Puchong yesterday.

Air Selangor Group Management corporate communications chief Amin Lin Abdullah said in a statement today that repair works were being carried out and water supply was expected to be restored, in stages, after 7.30pm today.

The affected areas are USJ 1 till USJ 15, USJ 16 till USJ 27, Kg Kenangan, Jalan Subang 9, Sg Penaga Industrial Park and Jalan Bandar 1 till Jalan Bandar 19 Pusat Bandar Puchong.

"Also affected are Jalan Merbah 1 till Jalan Merbah 3 Bandar Puchong Jaya, Taman Perindustrian Puchong, Taman Sri Puchong, Kompleks Sukan Rakan Muda Puchong, Stesen LRT Pusat Bandar Puchong, Kg Sri Langkas, Kg Sri Aman, Taman Puchong Intan and Taman Puchong Prima," Amin said.

He said consumers could obtain updates through 'mySYABAS' and at www.syabas.com.my.

Here in USJ 12, it is not trickling.

To facilitate the washing of utensils and plates in the kitchen, I use a garden hose to connect the tap that is drawing supply from my water tank by improvising the use of a tap head. I do this everytime if the water disruption is whole day long. Can't imagine washing anything oily with soap but no running water. As a rule of thumb, our water tank can usually last a family of 4 water consumtion for 2 days. If you find that yours can't last you 2 days, the following could be the reason.
a) your family too big
b) your daily water consumption is way above the Malaysian average
c) water tanki is not the minimum standard size

Necessity is the mother of invention.

For 1-2 days water disruption..

- Domino pizza home delivery and eateries in area not affected by water disruption are good solutions

- bottled mineral/drinking water is THE solution

- laundry shop is THE solution

Any water left is for shower

Eh? when did I take on disciples. I just happen to share some tips or experiences and good if it benefit anyone..unlike some people who think I'm mere complaining or groaning all the time..surely they don't even know me or even met me in person to sum up such despise.

It is only when we get to sit down and have Teh tarik that we get to know each other better. Or else people who see your post as ranting rather than sharing. They see them as nails and if the only tool they have is a hammer, they will surely slam it down.

Though there were only 6 of us, nevertheless we had a good time. When BS Lee dropped in and introduced himself, both Mat Bruce and I were nearly floored. He totally looked different from our perception of him. Like what Mat Bruce described, all the time I thought BS Lee looks like this fella.




But he looked dashing and well tanned like this fella without the moustache. I am pretty sure our lady folks would like him. As for Mat Bruce he is anything but a Malay. Well, welcome to the world of make believe.



We ended our session around 12.40am and paid RM 12.00 for our drink. What a great value for money entertainment. Hopefully, the next time we meet again here, Mamak Khalifah would not chase away cheapskates like us.
