Good for him! Good for the samaritan!

“当时还挺痛苦的,还没筹到钱,但是又被网民谩骂、取笑、泼冷水,似乎我得罪他们了,不过我也没回应,我给 父母看,大家也只能摇头叹息而已。” , The students have every right to ask for donation, because asking for help doesn't hurt anybody, I too 摇头叹息 when read posting criticizing their action and all sorts of disparaging remarks, ya, "似乎我得罪他们". What's wrong with those people thinking they have the right to hurt these poor students!

All sorts of people with different mindset..

They are people who blame anything and everything under the sun except themselves for their predicament. They are people who don't wish to see others are more successful, they are people who like to glorify something/someone just to join the crowd even though they have no idea what is going on.

Life favors those who are positive-minded and don't yield to pressure. For Teh Jye Quan, since his bursary program has converted to local uni, I am sure he can easily excel in the private local uni like Monash and Newcastle which also offer medical degree but he took his chances to stick with his dream to be in Cambridge even though chances are very slim on the financial support. For someone at his age, this is exceptional quality.

Bear in mind, if he fails to get any sponsor, he will have to wait another 9-12 months to wait for the new intake from local medical schools and there is a long time with many uncertainties knowing what your 1gomen is capable to do...

Highest "quota" for the intake of foreign medical students into Cambridge is only 20 students per year !! First year fee alone is 46,000 which is about RM250,000. The total fee will be around RM1.5 million for the 6 years MBBS program in Cambridge.

Congratulations to Teh Jye Quan.. Life is always good and full of hope for positive-minded people ..
