Bicester Village is an outlet shopping centre on the outskirts of Bicester, a town in Oxfordshire, England. It is about one hour train ride from London.

Most of its stores are in the A to Z luxury goods and designers' clothing sector.

FYI, No 1 most visited place in UK is Buckingham Palace.

No 2 most visited place in UK by Mainland Chinese tourists ( Big 6s) is Bicester Village.

You can't go wrong if you can find train loads of Big 6s tourists.

It is twice the original size since we visited it last times.

If you are around the next time, no harm going there and if you are after good bargainings, you have come to the right place.

Discount starts from 20 to 70% every day!

This is mainly LAST SEASON luxury goods but treated as NEW SEASON/ARRIVAL in KL shops.

For example, a lady dress in an up-market shop in Pavillion, KL is displaced as NEW SEASON/ARRIVAL with a price-tag of RM2,300.00. The same item in Bicester Village is only £199 or RM1,100.00

Certain items in CBD London is £1,250.00 but only about £720.00 in Bicester Village.

There is similar one elsewhere. I found one outskirt of Sapporo called Mitsui Outlet Store, about 50 minutes train distance..

I bought one lady wallet from this British brand there...

Your cousins, Big 6s, are everywhere and they seem to know where to find good bargaining.

They are like us and have to eat.

If you take care of their stomach, they take care of your pockets.

Yup.. your cousins are everywhere but I have ways to avoid staying in the same hotels with them..

Look for small or medium size hotels. Hotel that cannot cater breakfast for bus loads of tourists is the safest one. Most 3-4 star business hotels in Europe/Japan are in this category.

You can't avoid them in shopping.. bargain or no bargain, cheap or expensive.

Looking fwd to your sharing of Bayswater Four Seasons' roasted duck picture in the food thread
Yup, went to Bayswater for dinner but avoided Four Seasons simply because that restaurant is very tight & not comfortable.

There is a better one called Mandarin Kitchen just in front of Queensway Station.

Food is great, place spacious and price is very reasonable.

Next time if you want to try this restaurant, try and order lobsters in ginger noodles- their signature dish

Also there is a good Chinese oriental foods supermarket called Food Basics, 4 shops away

The other Four Seasons in London China Town has 2 outlets next to each other, one is a normal restaurant and the other is for Stream Boat only
