Middle-Eastern millionaires like to descend in London in July/August with their shiny supercars, annoying the locals with their noisy anti-social antics and picking up a wad of parking tickets along the way. Dozens of rich petrolheads visit the capital each year for their holidays in what is known as 'The Season'. Here are some of the most outrageous vehicles seen this 'season'.
The bling kings have taken over London again as foreign playboys parade their luxury supercars at some of the capital's most exclusive hangouts.
The arrival of the supercars in July and August has become a regular event in recent years, with rich Kuwaitis, Saudis and Emiratis seeking to out-do each other over who can own the flashiest motor.
Cars on show this year include a £250,000 soft-top Rolls Royce at the Grosvenor House Hotel in Mayfair, a silver Lamborghini with red strips, costing up to £192,000, and a Brabus 4x4, which can fetch £240,000, outside the Dorchester Hotel.
Tourists like them but Londoners find them annoying.
At first, I heard the loud sound from the supercars which sounded like continuous bombing sound & machine guns fire. That must be the first wave. I missed the first run.
Later on, half hour later, these supercars retuned. I was on the street and took this video.
I was told they do a few rounds daily all over the busy London streets
