    This is a good trait..

But sometimes we may have to lower our standard to be even lower than theirs just to get even as these ashxxx only feel the pitch when deal with low standard..

It needs wisdom to find a balance....

Malacca although has developed a lot compared to 5-10 years ago in term of better restaurants and better business premises, but still lack the right service culture that accompanied the price tag and offerings.

Went to an established Chinese restaurant for dinner with parents on new year eye. This restaurant was already famous when I was a primary school student. The younger generation of the restaurant founder sold the old shoplot premise, constructed a new multi storeys building with nice ambience.

The dinner was a huge disappointment. Although the food is authentic and delicious, the service is unacceptably and unbelievably poor for this sort of restaurant. Usually, the steamed fish should be the 1st dish to served but it came last !! Wtf to have a fish at the end of the dinner ?? Asked them why such a blunder, they gave all sort of excuses and bullshits.. Come on, be honest to admit mistake and aplogetic for the blunder can help to retain customers.... and how the hell they think they can bs in front of me ?? Also, the hygiene standard of the washroom made me feel like I was back to the 70s when I was my primary school toilet. Their mindset is still centered around the restaurant deco, the washroom is not a priority to them. In my opinion, the washroom is only fit for xx%#.

Lastly, the quality of the patrons !! Come on, you don't go to a nice restaurant with blardy round neck t shirt and stupid short !! and why can't human being enjoy food quietly instead of yucking non stop with high decibels noise !! My late dog eat in a more civilized manner and quiet than them...

My dinner yesterday nite at a high priced and established Chinese restaurant in PJ was not much better. Poor service. They are only interested to serve their regular customers. We ordered a starter and individual servings (ie served per pax) of pork, seafood etc with instructions that they are served course by course. Can you imagine that all come out at the same time? About 3-4 small plates all over the table per pax.

Since the cooking oil subsidy withdrawal, its made me more aware of being extra careful to eat out and will avoid eating out if I can do so. Price of cooking oil have risen around the 30% and I'm cocksure many food vendors and restaurants are bent on using the poorer subsidised quality cooking oil to suit their needs and maintain operating costs, (but then there's no telling they will increase food prices anyhow as usual at the slightest excuse to do so).
For experience sake, I've tried that pack of Rm2.50 cooking oil just to experience the difference, and my wife complain about the taste. No need for me to elaborate...the rest is all obvious.

From what I understand only cooking oil for households have increased in prices since the subsidy removal. We just can't stop loving this caring government, can we? For restaurants, there is no increase. I thought I read this in a newspaper report awhile back.

For me whatever the case, I only forecast or presume the consequences of it all considering the circumstances and some snaky business culture in this country, it does affect MY well being, I speak for myself and what I do to adapt to the situation. I just see that when there's price increase of raw materials, vendors are never happy about it and will resort to some strategy that WILL affect their customers. OK..maybe once or twice nothing really change, but who knows? are you there to experience what they really use? Anyone there can claim anything, no one can be trusted. From my POV, vendors only want your money, they're not responsible for your medical or longevity. Its not always about caring or not caring government. I don't really see shop vendors going around condemning the gomen about price increases. They automatically pass on costs as long as you like to patronize them. I'm not here to preach to anyone "don't go eat out". Do as you please.

Those apanama eateries which serve apanama nasi or something like that are prepared by people who use their bare hands to clean their assxx after doing their big business. Some of the toilets in these eateries may have a pathetic rubber hose connected to a water tap for them to use the water to wash their assxx, and hopefully they will use the soap to wash their hands later.... However, with business costs keep on increasing, don't be surprised soap or detergent is not provided anymore for them to clean their hands after using their hands to wipe their assxx. This is the same pair of hands which will be used to prepare your food and drinks..

I'm not here to tell those whose whole life only eat apanama nasi kandar "don't go eat there". Go there more, please... maybe it is more tasty now..

The impact of raising costs will hit hard on folks like her who has to work very hard just to make ends meet..

But she has no chance to share her tough and harsh life in social media or online forum.. and certainly don’t have the time to waste unlike many of the so-called “middle class” folks who have all the time to moan and rant non-stop on the slightest increase of living costs instead of doing something meaningful to cushion the impact…

And this is probably the only forum in the world that one can come across some "f***ed up mindsets" who bear consistent impertinence to "keep rubbing it in" in reaction or reponse to some forumer's expression thereon seen as a form of moan, complaint or rant. Its these very kind that lurks around our midst, can can spoil your day so easily and can even breed animosity from any form of provocation or trolling. These kind should be banned forever.

Yes, this is the forum (not probably) that you can find some pathetic mindsets lurking around... who always think and feel insecure and over-sensitive on everything.... who always like to moan and complain about life.

Such pathetic folk thinks is his birth-right to criticize others who like to eat outside, those who can't cook at home due to time constraints. When people wanted to share their experience of buying new car, he will throw tons of negative comments like expensive maintenance, expensive parts and service, etc., etc.

But when others zoom into his weakness or inferiority complex, he will label them as trolling or provocation.

This is TYPICALLY "Self centered and only expect to be made happy about what YOU WANT to see and read". You really don't care about anyone else other or other people's participation. Maybe you think this is KL LAKE CLUB only for select conversation, select people and those with discerning tastes. You're DEAD wrong!
I once respected your request to "leave you alone" but then you keep rubbing it in time and again and again your posts point to the same repetitive pattern after numerous banning. You may not really jerk my personal emotions but some other people whom you don't even know or also reading this forum. You think you're fair to them too by generalizing human trends, circumstances or situation since you're unaffected or most secure compared to them?
Maybe you think I'm too pathetic and born yesterday, but then I know I have enough experience and maturity to read in between the lines of what you're trying to say and who you're targetting, eventhough you don't even know or have any idea of the real person on a personal basis. And you thought YOUR posts are all POSITIVE and certain views from me are NEGATIVE? LOOK!..it works BOTH WAYS! And that's what you use as a tool to retort back!

I actually struggled on how to write a precise description of someone based on what I read from his posts over the years.

I believe I have found it. Post #164 tells me a lot about his characters and the underlying reasons of such characters that I wanted to write for so long. Everything that he pointed to others is sheer reminiscence of him.

It is interesting to read such lengthy self-confession. I guess sometimes people will unknowingly disclose their true and hidden characters ..
