Chance to legalise illegal renovation

Since the last post MPSJ had extended the deadline for legalisation of house extensions in the Subang Jaya municipality.

The new deadline is now 31 December 2018

Please note that this will be the final deadline to legalise extensions.

MPSJ said there were no plans to continue the programme after the deadline.

Terrace house owners may like to note that regulations on the extent of renovations have changed through the years. Previously MPSJ had fixed set-back criteria to house extensions. Some of the set-back criteria have now changed. It means that most owners would no longer violate any restrictions set by MPSJ a few years ago. It will be a pleasant surprise for home owners to discover that previous extension "violations" are now legal. But you still need to submit plans for those extensions if in the past it was not included in the extension plans submitted to MPSJ.

it is actually a simple and str84ward process if your home is a humble 1+half or DSLH with 'unapproved' renovation/annex etc... Perhaps the MPSJ amnesty and rulings for semi D and above (for the super rich folks are not been finalised yet ??

If your home is a DSLH, I am willing to share my contact. Rahim is NOT like many other blood smelling, in-4-a-quick-kill vulture architect/draughtman claiming this & that and all sorta problems & issues and then only he/she in MPSJ can solve... of course, he/she will come up with a jaw dropping, feet hopping, mouth foaming, gut wretching, soul selling price point!

I heard the deadline is extended to 30th June 2019?
True or not?

I heard that too but not officially announced yet
There might be some change in the penalty fees in the new extended submission date
