    Dark roads in USJ

    Hi all,

There's a stretch of very dark road at the beginning of Jalan Persiaran Tujuan.

    This stretch starts from :

    1. On Federal Highway, 100m before turning into Persiaran Tujuan.

    2. And stretches into Persiaran Tujuan NPE exit (to the left).

The stretch where cars tumbles into the railway line below, and the overhead road right after - that whole area is completely shrouded in the dark, but yet, is one of the entry points into USJ. It should be very well lighted, but the brightness of that stretch seems to be illuminated only by car head lamps.

Do you all notice the same?

Since the beginning of LRT, SJ/USJ infrastructure begin deteriorating everyday. Politicians fighting at the expense of the Rakyat. USJ / SJ residents are prompted in paying the cukai pintu to the majlis, and are the best paymaster in Malaysia but still we are suffering from the bumpy roads everyday. S**t

Yup..look at the pace of the roadworks in central PJ that were rerouted to one way street. Its been many many months now, maybe a year and the road is as bad as rural roads and bad for your car suspension. Perhaps this is one cause why productivity is so low and that we fail to prosper as other hardworking countries. We seem to be depending so much of foreign labor but then again I see productivity and speed is at snail's pace. Just not right!

There is no end to it.Top management depends feedback from below or no official complaint so no action.I think we our cars need to suffer and need to change the car suspension often. If any official ask for betterment of SJ/ USJ,just ask them to resurface the road.If MPSJ says there are a ISO majlis, tell them to look around first la.

Speaking about car lights...change your headlamp bulbs every few years. Common Philips or Osram H4 bulb is only around 10 to 12 bucks at your friendly auto spare parts store and can be easily DIY changed. These bulbs gradually become dimmer due to tungsten filament deterioration over time. Tell me 20 odd bucks cannot spare ah to ensure optimal brightness for night driving? Of course premium brightness bulbs cost RM80 or more per pair..no need to complicate the issue, standard bulbs work fine! You're not hunting wild boar at nite..

A proper car should not split into two after collision. When this happens, it is the car problem, not just the road conditions, and can happen even in the bright day light..
