Direction and hence near-future Destiny for Us here

Let's us predict how the near future will be for us here ( Let's begin our next step from here with ends in mind )

    In this land that.......

...the wide-spread...top-down...growing culture of dishonesty VS culture of sincerity

...culture of bully, bouncer-like intimidating VS culture of righteousness and benevolent

...misuse of power- all the ones in supposedly-to-serve position VS culture of growing selfless, servant leader

........culture of incompetency, inefficiency- taking unwarranted too long time for less than expected thorough work up........end up with disappointing results that sheerly money-waster

..........culture of transparency, self-integrity..........that practice and policy of.....

    .......culture of silly denial

.......lacking lead-by-example culture of 'when you make mistake, do these three things....one....admit it....two.....apology.......three.....stop it from recurring

....culture of universal fairness and justice

How high can we climb .......with the ladder leaning on the wrong side of the wall.....

Simple, birdy- like it doesn't need to take a brain of an ostrich's size to figure out the impact on a nation economy is substantial amount of money being frozen overseas- instead of circulating locally.

The answer for your birdy question lies...........................in...........the... ....title

I went to my kid' s school yesterday after he reported a senior class student pushed and yelled at him- unprovoked. I stormed into the school office and told the head there about my intention.

I said I would like to speak to that bully myself. And if he admit deeds and acknowledge those were not the right things to do and swear not to repeat, I would forgive him and wouldn't like to tarnish his school record by lodging a formal report against him.

On the other hand, if he choose to deny, not to repent and likely to continue to do things his way........

Little did he knew we had gather statement from all the eye witnesses against him- could he just simply deny and think of getting away?

    Hmmmm

Back in my days at school....my parents would have 'F'ed' me up, for not being able to stand up for myself.......

I suppose times are different now.....If only parents these days would 'use head' .....kids would grow up soon enough to face this challenging world

Kurma, kids have their ways of handling things. Like it or not, wisdom comes to is- with age. They don't. It's all up to whether to let things run by default or by design.

With wisdom, we can show them how things are best handled. They can learn directly- the effective ways and hopefully pick up the effective habits.

By default- trials and errors- can. Simply pick the buah kurma in a basket and taste to see good or bad. With wisdom, can easily identify the rotten kuma from the good ones

Aslo by design, US has functioning Democrat and Republic to ensure effective flawless governing policy and practice, with minimal number of ministers. Here, by default, we have jakim but not jak1M...........

I suppose I can't argue with your 'logic' ......it is but, after all,....... Destiny

[This is a good book to take 'logical thinking' to higher levels....]

You are right, Kuma. You got your point perfectly correct. Most of the time, ideas like that can continue to be debated endlessly.

Does anyone see a formidable solution in our near future here? Einstein had said ' our problem cannot be solved at the level of functioning that first has created the problem '

Say if our stateman created a problem, how to solve it quickly and effectively? Yes, get to the higher level.

In school, parents and teachers are of higher level.

See how messy and futile things can get when politicians try to solve problem like kids try to solve problem created at their levels-

.......end up too much time is spent on the problem that yet cannot be sort out lawfully, fail to focus more time on solution- say like suspects be brought to court proceeding ASAP, their overseas frozen money be retrieved by court order to rescue local economy, etc.

In short, direction and destiny will be compromised and jeopardized if problems are not effectively dealt with using Einstein's problem-solving principle

If the kid is still in lower primary level, i.e. Std 4 and below, I think your way of handling "school bully" likely is necessary..

When the kid is in upper primary level like Std 5 above or secondary level, I think there is no need to storm to school and wanted to speak to the "bully". Call the school, speak to the HM, express your concern and let the school handle it. You may end up in a situation that you wish you don't want to be in after speaking directly to the alleged "bully".

I believe school is a place for kids to learn social skills and this include learning how to handle "bad people". Let the kids learn, fall and then learn again, this is the precious experience for them. Fyi, the main reason some parents send the kids to expensive boarding school, either local or abroad is not because the boarding school provides the kids with a good life, it is because the school can provide them with "real life" away from parents protection.
