" Enraged Chinese netizens vow vengeance against United Airlines. A video of United Airlines staff forcibly removing a Chinese-American passenger from an overbooked flight in Chicago on Sunday has been viewed by more than 120 million users in China. " http://www.thestar.com.my/news/regio...ited-airlines/

If 10% of the 120 millions above are affluent travelers, this is good enough to fxxk united airlines either domestic or overseas routes. It was predicted that the number of annual Chinese tourists to the United States will swell to more than 6.5 million by 2020, just under three times the 2.4 million tourists the United States saw in 2015.

Here are the statistics, actual and forecast..

United Dumb and Dumber where the CEO is behind the staff back side to kick thier fare paying customers where yell ow is chosen to be removed http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017...-man-forcibly/.

In the past, the Asians particularly Chinese would just eat the humble american pie in injustice and racial discrimination, but the tide has changed. They would cook steamed dumpling by cutting http://mashable.com/2017/04/11/unite.../#dhjLsXpAwaqz

And probably united Chinese investors doing the dump and flush the airline down And that cost about 800 million USD down with 3% in just days. http://www.cnbc.com/2017/04/11/pr-ni...res-slide.html

    Wow! 👏👏👏

I booked a Virgin American Airlines seat few days back, at the gate we were told there is a flight delay due to weather at destination but when I checked the arrivals at the destination airport in the following day, VA was the only delayed flight at that arrival hour, there was rain but no storm or fog. Anyway, we were offered to book the next day flight if we don't want to wait. Just few days earlier, I read about how airlines delay flights due to low sale. When I check-in the next day, I saw United Airlines has much much longer check-in queue, I was thinking I should travel with United Airlines in the future. Now I will think twice.

There were so many videos about Asians being harassed by bigger size locals in USA and Australia. I wonder does size matters!

There was a news on social media not long ago about a Sabahan lady beaten up 2 foreigners who tried to rob and rape her. The two foreigners suffer major injuries, and the police charge the girl!

For airlines to oversell their seats is not unusual, this is to cater in scenario of cancellation by some customers especially from the travell agencies due to their bulk booking.

However, to drag the customer out of the seat just to give way to their own staffs. I guess United is the first in record.

I tried to know more about the United's CEO, Mr. Oscar Munoz.

Last month, he was just named as the U.S. Communicator of the Year by the magazine PRWeek. Now, look at how he issued his statements after the video clip went viral worldwide....

    - United Airlines CEO Oscar Munoz apologized for the forcible removal of a paying passenger from one of its flights and called the episode "truly horrific.". This is his 3rd statement within 48 hours.

    - In his first statement, Munoz apologized for "having to re-accommodate the customer " with no mention of the trauma for the victim and other passengers/witnesses onboard.

    - In his second statement, he described " the passenger as disruptive and belligerent, and employees followed established procedures." ."

Can you trust the sincerity of his 3rd statement ??

For someone who is paid tens of million in his annual salary and probably one of the best PR personnel in United States, there is no way he allows such PR crisis to develop to a full-blown disaster.

To me, this is plain arrogance and racism. I just hope the Board of United Airline remove him from his job.

Some people are "born-talker", they can wiggle their way out and up to earn their millions. It is not hard to see this type of people around us especially those no-substanced politicians.

Stupidity will beat the crap out of you. This CEO must have been so full of himself that he thinks he can say whatever he wants.

The airline staffs are just plain stupid. Don't know realize that capitalism and greed always work. If they just bother to offer proper compensation to any of the passengers, people will volunteer and this incident would have tarnish the company's brand. Ask for 4 volunteers and offer 200 dollars each plus next available flight. No takers, offer 400 dollars... then 800 dollars, then 1 grand, then 2 grand. You really think no one will take the offer? just make sure to say that overnight room stay will be provided free of charge and a meal voucher of 100 dollars will be automatically provided. Done. way cheaper a solution.

    Idiots.

Back when I was a student, I was offered 200 dollars to take the next flight (2 hours later). I happily took it. The 200 dollars helps, but it was because a elderly person wanted to fly together with her daughter. I would have given up my seat regardless, but the 200 dollars helped. period.

" Lawyers for the passenger dragged from a United Airlines plane in Chicago filed an emergency request with an Illinois state court on Wednesday to require the carrier to preserve video recordings and other evidence related to the incident.."
    http://mobile.reuters.com/article/idUSKBN17E1GN

Wonder why an emergency court request to preserve all the flight documents and records ??

Because the flight was not overbooked. They asked passengers to vacant 4 seats for their staff who need to go to the same destination.. !!

If flight is not overbooked, the CEO is most likely to be dumped
