Y lah??? give this SJ resident forummer a break lah... Investigative banning aint gonna solve nuthin' in duh long term leh. I enjoy the various nicks' postings lah...ANd ye cant please every1 lah.

The Grass is indeed getting browner down under.
Just got this in the e box: A 'kinda' big developer is having an Oz property expo of sort and being a 'valued customer' was offered a week free stay in their Melbourne CBD apartment suite.

Then I kinda went WTF??? Given this hypothetical scenario: Assuming that i already own an apartment ( local parlance 'I have a condo' in Melbourne, WTfish would I be wanting to stay at another place?

    It's all hard works.

Y? no big deal lah... Crime is not and never an exclusive vocation. Now everyone can commit a crime lah.

    No one is a saint.

EVERYone commits an offence from throwing cigie butt, to jay walking to stealing a glance to surfing porn site(s) to whatever seemingly 'innocent' thingy when the law says otherwise, e.g. in OZ, its illegal to push your motorcycle while wearing a helmet, or changing a blown lightbulb without using a qualified electrician, or watering your plants during drought.... JUST dont get caught lah mate.

Australia have their issues, they lost 500k cattle’s in a flood in Queensland, property prices have come down, China halted purchase of some of their coal, but nothing like BRexit. I was in a medical checkup in their public hospital system and was impressed by their free specialist services. I can compare because I see a doctor in Sunway medical for the same condition, enlarged prostrate, discovered during my yearly free checkup that Indo in Australia, very common in people over 50. It is very important to monitor and check for prostate cancer, even if the chance is slim,as cancer can be cured if discovered early. Now, the PSA blood test is not even covered in my medical insurance in Malaysia, the clinic charges me myr90 to test it, then Sunway wanted $6k to do a biopsy to check if it is cancerous. Of course I went thru it since I have medical insurance but the doctor was very snobby, refusing to answer questions directly, mumbling and always looking at his watch, hinting that I am wasting his time, he has money face all over. So I decided to use the Australian system. So I can tell you from my experience, don’t listen to people who come over to Australia for a holiday and then tell you their 2 weeks experience as facts. It is not that Inam right , I am just sharing and it is my opinion that Australia government is very good in these things.

I did an appointment with my GP, then she organize my PSA blood test, all free. My biopsy was then done in a public hospital, and thank god, there was no cancer, just that some people have higher PSA. This was all free. Since I was still worried, they offered to do an MRI for me, this will provide a 99% conclusion, and the best part? It is still free!

    Sharing more on lifestyles..
I have been cooking Hainanese chicken lately..a chicken cost around $7 aud for 1.7kg and I do my own pork roast.
My shoulder pork 2kg is only aud14, I normally give half to my son and half to my brother. I shop in Malaysia and meat is so expensive! If you don’t eat out everyday, which is very unhealthy anyway, Australia food wise can be cheaper as Malaysia prices has caught up but not the salary.
