Holden: Last vehicle rolls off production line as Australian car manufacturing ends..
    http://www.abc.net.au/news/2017-10-2...-today/9061854

Australia manufacturing is losing their competitiveness due to the small pool of population (small domestic market) and higher wages. The car manufacturers couldn’t rely on domestic sales for survival but they couldn’t export their way out of trouble either. Other big names like Ford, Mitsubishi, Toyota have all shut down their plants in Australia.....

Here are some interesting comments from the locals.

" This has been going on since mid 80's under LABOUR when they reduced tariffs on cars, clothing, footwear & electrical. All the name of 'free trade'. The final nail was FTO with japan, south korea and china. Employment is more casualised, wage growth is flat. Generations of aussie will never have home owenership. Jobs are being automated, online or offshore. !! "

" Is Australia a developed country? No car industry, no electronics industry, no advanced ship building industry (submarines are designed and built by French), no aviation industry, no space industry, no power generation equipment industry, no petrol refinery industry "

Last Sunday, I asked a cleaner to clean my shoe cabinet after she finished her work.

I specifically requested she must clean one rack at a time, put the shoes/shoe boxes back to the same place before cleaning another rack. She took around 40 minutes to complete her job.

I paid her RM50 for a job well done...

Over here rates/charges have steadily risen to be more reflective of market prices. Some suppliers have started charging delivery fee if orders are below a certain sum.

Being spoilt by paying low rates/charges in the past people will naturally complaint. Better get use to it. It is now the era of free trade. The Gomen cannot legislate against market forces anymore and yet be business friendly to attract investors.

Nowadays business giant would ask dealers to buy their supplies in bulk in order to get discount otherwise dealership gone. Example air condition dealers make only RM50 per unit excluding installation.

AUD40 per hour as cleaner !!

That's why some of those inggerish-speaking "neither-here-nor-there" from here wanna go there and hopefully one day they will be adopted by down under, nevermind if they have to clean the toilets, mow the lawn or drive uber for 12 hours non-stop just to earn a living. These "neither-here-nor-there" are so proud that they are now living in a developed country with high income..

Just like the foreign labours here who brag to their countrymen that they are living in a place more advance than their birthplace without revealing they are just the cheap labour for the locals in their current new place....

All these smells are miles behind the freaking smell of the sub-saharan walking carcass ...

These walking carcasses are commonly found if you take a middle-eastern flight to europe and transit via abu dabi, doha, dubai, and apanama !!

The walking carcasses Probably rank ass to ass with the summer maddening herd (esp the smelley & heavily perfumed arabs) in a crowded red bus in London...the worst part is that the bloody Brit buses are not airconditioned and with closed windows, the fetid stench of sweat and shit freely waft thru the the hot & airless bus...*URGGGGGGG* lemme outta here

What a load of rubbish. Please go talk to people who have migrated there instead of shiok sendiri. I think you hallucinate a lot or growing to be a grumpy old man.
